I’m really, really good at peeling oranges with my bare hands (or at least I used to be in grade school when all my friends would make me do it for them). The problem is, I hate the taste of oranges so I never use this power.

I download books from my library to my kindle. It goes through Amazon though, so I assume I am also impacted by this BS.

A quick Google showed me a $40 smartphone from Walmart. Granted it’s probably pretty terrible, but it does go to show that they aren’t all priced like luxury toys. If you want a luxury branded phone, you’ll pay luxury prices.

Check your local library. They usually have subscriptions for newspapers/magazines that you can access digitally with your library card.

I once took a detour to Silver City, NM just because of this movie. Spoiler alert: it is nothing like the Silver City portrayed in the movie.

But seriously, as a kid this was the movie that if I came across it showing on tv I had to stop and watch it. It never stopped being funny.

Came here to say this. The quality of life improvement was beyond what I could have ever imagined.
