Yep! Learned me a thing today!
Well I’ll be damned. Thanks for the tip can confirm Firefox Focus expands alt text when you tap it in the context menu!
Unfortunately not all mobile browsers will show the entirety of the alt text if it’s too long, Firefox Focus on Android 15 and this exact comic is a perfect example, for my screen it cuts off about 3/4 through the alt text. The mobile version ensures it’s all readable
Nah bc then when the link goes down the content goes with it
Rapid edit: oh you mean in addition to the screenshot nvm don’t mind me
Thanks, I was too lazy to explain that haha
4K = 3840 x 2160 pixels = 8,294,400 pixels per frame
Assuming 8 bits of color depth (lowest common depth) = 66,355,200 bits per frame (66MB)
At 24fps (again, low end as mentioned by another commenter) = 1,592,524,800 bits per second (1.5GB)
95.5GB per minute of footage per camera, assuming literally no compression.
95.5GB × 40 = 3.8TB × 3 cameras = 11.4TB
Raw uncompressed video takes up a LOT of space.
(Yes I used 1000 instead of 1024 for convenience)
I’ve got 2 rigs with their B450M’s and they’ve been solid for years now
The term is juxtaposition but I don’t know if a Lemmy community exists for it yet
Where do I sign up? Getting shot doesn’t sound half bad lately
Accurate, and the voters are Charlie
More accurate if the DNC was Lucy and Bernie was Charlie in this scenario. Bernie isn’t out there pulling the rug out from under us, he’s standing with us on the rug while the DNC pulls it out from under all of us.
For what it’s worth I literally just removed my phone number from my account after reading your comment and it did it no problem. Haven’t gotten any suspicious account alerts yet but if I get one I’ll come back and update.
I’ve been using NPM for a few years now and can’t recommend it enough. I use it to route to both docker containers on an internal proxy network as well at other services within my networks
I did this to myself last week on a new project. Spent an hour trying to track down at what point in my code the data from the database got converted to [Object object]. Finally decided to check the db itself and realized that the [Object object] was coming from inside the house the whole time and the error in my code was when the entry was being written smh
I’ve been using a modified and simplified version of Prismatic Night it’s somewhat basic but I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve got startpages for my personal stuff, one for my wife and her personal stuff, and a couple for work.
About 30% of the time I simply cannot transfer calls, the dialog bugs out and either won’t allow me to type or won’t accept the number. Not reliably able to be reproduced and restarting Teams fixes it. Done all the troubleshooting including device resets and no permanent fix found yet.
This sort of random unreliability seems extremely prevalent among all of Microsoft’s products. Hell just today we couldn’t do email remediation through the MS Security portal, had to do an old school investigation. ‘The actions failed. Please try again later.’ No details or explanation and they didn’t show in the action logs either.
Microsoft products are hell to work with on an organization level.
This makes me want to scream, daily. Holy hell please just mark as read when I open it, same for Outlook
I have so many shitty little discord bots I’ve tossed together, I love self hosting them lol
Ahahaha you’re right wtf
