Cars. Some people like to talk about how sturdy cars used to be, but with all of the advancements in safety, if I were in a head-on collision between an old Plymouth and a Toyota Prius, I’d much rather be in the Prius.
This is almost identical to my Wrapped last year, with the exception of Kow Otani (Gundam Wing OST)
I get HBO Max through my wireless carrier, but there’s no way in hell I’d pay for it on its own. The Max app is just straight, unadulterated hot garbage.
I got my Framework 13 in February 2022 and I love it. I’ll end up getting the AMD mainboard when it becomes more widely available, then take my old mainboard and RAM, put them in an enclosure, and make that my new NAS. Then my current NAS, which is just a Raspberry Pi, I’ll turn that into a PiHole.
Right? I mean what other chocolate sandwich cookie is “overflowing with nut”?
This is what I really like about my RAV4: the touchscreen is just for controlling CarPlay/Android Auto and system settings that you don’t change while driving anyway. There are physical controls for everything else, including the radio.
My wife’s Jeep Latitude, on the other hand, is a mess. Things like the seat warmers, heated steering wheel controls, and the climate control vents are only on the touchscreen and it’s super laggy. Trying to change any of that while driving is very risky.
I have one through my legacy Google Play Music subscription. I get YouTube Music and YouTube Premium for $7.99/month
I saw some small talk about it, and it really just boiled down to domain verification is great for more tech savvy folks, but trying to get larger accounts (think politicians, celebrities, etc) is a lot harder. Having a visual check, using tools within the app or site, is a lot easier.
And personally I like the idea of verification checks as long as it remains a simple means to do just that: verify the owner of the account. Morons like Musk and his ilk always thought it was a clout thing, and for a small minority that was probably the case, but by and large before he ruined it, it was great.
