Comments saying “you don’t” are weak shit. The answer is you rotate each letter one by one.
It will look like shit because they will be ever so slightly misaligned, but such is the fate of the brave
“You got that money”
Circa 2012 my boomer parents had me job hunting in person AND hand-writing the cover letters. It got me two jobs so maybe it wasn’t the worst advice, but i would spend every day driving around and penning half a dozen letters for employers that, a lot of the time, weren’t even hiring.
Anyway, that (12 years ago) was the last job hunt i’ve ever done, it’s been nothing but networking and freelancing ever since
I thought eBay in this context meant second hand? Because here’s the thing: i think second hand means you save a lot of money but you get less choice and less convenience; but platforms are getting good now so both of these factors are mitigated.
Anyway, eBay being 1:1 with Amazon is good enough for me, and i agree that AliExpress in particular is now better than Amazon in terms of price and choice. I don’t even know how risky it really is, they can refun orders right?
I agree, but i also get a chuckle out of getting the meme wrong on purpose: this man held the same job title for 21 years, but something about being Principal Performance Architect sucked so much that he retired within a year and became a goose farmer.
Yeah, but that will be true for the electric cars made in the coming years, not the ones made in the past few years. People were right to be put off by the prices.
And even then, will these new cheap batteries be durable? I worry a lot about all these EVs becoming unusable in 10 years because the batteries are ruined, just like my 10 year old laptop
Yyeah but if their definistion of “fresh” includes the navy seals copypasta, then by god don’t let them sell milk
My brother once drove 60mph down a winding narrow mountain road one-handed while sipping tea. Cool story to tell now that i say it like that, but i can assure you it was not cool to be in the passenger seat at the time
Looks like they threw some loose change at Jill Stein
I don’t think it’s funny, more like it feels good to see an atom of justice done for once. One murder changes nothing, it has no value as far as changing the system, but the symbolic value is through the roof.
Here’s the thing: even if we change the healthcare system tomorrow, they get to keep their billions. We can change the system, but there will be no justice because one of the principles of our legal system is that justice isn’t retroactive. So seeing one of the guilty parties killed is an example of retribution that is very rare and exhilarating.
Just not funny per se
I’ve googled it for you: she’s going to be green for 28 to 45 days.
There was a mix actually, a lot of users would say they weren’t furries. I can’t guess the proportion
To me, the fact that r/zootopia was the biggest Disney movie subreddit and never stopped growing is entirely due to it having an umbilical cord to the furry fandom. You can also say that the Zootopia fandom was a good place for normies that were too straight to be furries, and you can say that the Zootopia fandom was step 1 of the pipeline that leads to owning a fursuit and a canine butt plug. All three were probably true.
I just realized i typed this whole comment in past tense, but uh, the Zootopia fandom still exists. And r/zootopia still exists. I don’t know i don’t have object permanence
There was a dedicated Zootopia porn subreddit, and it was bigger than the SFW one.
Genuinely once or twice in 8 years. People knew the rules.
But the rules around NSFW content were a point of contention, i placed the bar a lot lower than most people in the community would have it. To the point that there was huge controversy a couple times, and i realized that they saw me more as a cop than a janitor. People really wanted to see rabbit hole
I am fascinated by you. Please tell me you’ve written a book or long thread?
Also please don’t get Covid
How much information do you actually retain?
So this means you hear your thoughts as if they were on speaker, right? I don’t, which is a form of aphantasia, which i also have.
I this is why i mumble to myself all the time, my brain has no speakers
I’ve actively moderated the Zootopia subreddit almost since its inception. We did a lot of cool stuff but, uh, moderating a subreddit is not the kind of thing you brag about. Anyway, i quit this year.
Also i have every single r/place-related medal because i helped organize artworks. That’s not any better is it?
Yeah, i have a huge archive of music in .mp3 format and it keeps growing. There is no appreciable loss in quality between uncompressed and 320kb/s, with the potential to go reasonably lower depending on the source quality.
I’m like this with my movies too, with some exceptions all 2000 of them are around 1-2Gb in size, which is considered small in the torrenting community. For those ones i can actually notice the low image quality, but it kinda doesn’t bother me.
I have good headphones and a good TV, i just stopped believing in high fidelity. People adore the imperfections of vinyl and VHS media, and i kind of feel the same way towards digital artifacts, movies feel weird when the image is too sharp. For music, again, i don’t even notice.
In this context, if a format can cut my library size in half and i can’t tell the audio difference, AND it’s patent-free, i see this as an absolute win.
Not that most people would care anyway, in the age of streaming people don’t have libraries anymore
