I actually had this happen for a while. For some reason it stopped. I still have no idea why. I use vpn and alias emails so one or a combination of both is the problem. After some time, maybe I got my trust level up.

When I was recruiting people during r/place and the protests, I found most of the issue being proper user guides to get people to sign up. Lemmy may be pretty confusing, especially to non-techies.

I know of those who understand tech very well and still own Apple products. I don’t know who to hate more. I just don’t like the fanboys in general. Does it support drawing on tablets? Also, if I wanted something to use to create handwritten digital notes, how would I go about that. Not that many good degoogled tablet options out there and linux tablets aren’t there yet. I can only think of a wacon or huion connected to my linux laptop. However, this will result in very poor battery life.

Android has a lockdown button when you hold power button, which is like as if you just rebooted it. Imo though, just shut it down to begin with. Additionally, my sim card is password protected so that’s an additional password to get by.

I don’t like what Peter Thiel has invested in (Stripe and Palantir). Elon Musk is ceo of a few companies that actually try to create interesting stuff, it’s better than actually funding collection of data.
