Sending this to my girlfriend, Nicole
I was literally getting my ass sprayed when I opened this meme.
It’s a pretty wide range, I’m included at 27 and I’ve got a couple friends younger than I am who’d probably get it too.
I don’t think people should downvote without explaining, but the suggestion of having them sleep in separate rooms is a little ridiculous if they’re already having sex.
Trust me, as someone who’s parents did the same thing, the only thing it will accomplish is pissing everyone off (the teens because they’re being treated like kids, the parents because they suspect something is happening regardless of what is). Either give them “the talk” and let them make decisions like adults, or decide they are still children and don’t let her stay over.
These dogs really are that long though. I saw one for the first time in real life a couple months ago, it was chasing its tail around a building.
Even with such a detailed instructional video, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to pull off the effortless swagger demonstrated in that first half turn. Marvelous.
I remember the way the victim crocodile just kinda sits there like, “huh. Guess I’m missing a foot now”
He dug too deep, and too greedily.
I’ve got no idea what this is supposed to say or mean 🤷🏾♂️
I sent an email. We’ll see what happens.
Edit: I received the following response:
This has been a social experiment by Oxford University, thanks for participating. Your data has been logged.
Immediately after opening the email, I received the following text message:
Hello, how have you been?
0/10, would not recommend.
I’m not defending their comment (because I’m not even really sure what its stance is), but I do want to clarify that they don’t seem to be arguing that we’re low-IQ rather than autistic; rather, I think the argument is that when low-IQ people see “normal” IQ activities, the low-IQ person will chalk it up to neurodivergence.
Like in their example, a low-IQ person would see a neurotypical person folding their laundry and think, “huh, they must be on the spectrum”.
Yeah Mrx. White! YEAH SCIENCE!
He was taught by the same institute that taught Beethoven to drift.
Make more money, right? Work harder?
That’s not even close to what they’re saying.
They’re saying that, given the amount of work you put in, you shouldn’t have to be living on such a tight budget. Not that you should just magically make more money.
Furthermore, they aren’t leaving anything in should/could/would land. They aren’t implying that you should be providing aid to those that need it, but that you should be receiving aid if you participated in this and fell on hard times because of it.
The title, friend… The advice you’re giving them is, “stop being homeless”
I have tinnitus that makes concentrating on anything in complete silence absolutely aggravating. The tiniest bit of background noise makes it so I don’t notice it anymore, so I generally have an instrumental playing when I need to focus on something like homework or reading.
You could get a small one of those Pelican-style hard cases and make some small notches at the lid to run your cables through. You could even use a phone (many in the last 5ish years have some degree of waterproofing) as a monitor and keyboard and just chuck the Pi Box in a corner for ultimate portability/size reduction.
Nicole is our wife.
