Snake. Snake!? Snaaaaaake!!!
Ahhhhh!!! WHERE!?!?!
One, 2nd grade Roman Catholic school, telling a bully of mine that he’s going to H-E-Double Hockey Sticks, got detention for that.
Two, getting detention for skipping/running back in from a fire drill. I think that was 3rd grade.
Gah my school was fucking stupid.
You say you used to play PZ… I recommend checking out the Week One mod with the new unstable branch of B42. Breathes some life into the world prior to the apocalypse occurring.
Oh I misread it this whole time… The insanity in week one alone has really messed with my psyche.
Yeah, and for me, 5G is a moot point. I have a decent wifi network at home (get 300-600mbps on 5G wifi), and my workplace has a reasonably okay wifi system too, albeit they firewall a lot of social stuff because work things. Outside of a random road trip for podcasts and maps use, I don’t see my needs changing anytime soon. As for the other person on the plan, they are WFH and almost purely utilize wifi anyway.
Yeah, I know recently, they’ve been trying to move peeps over from these GFed plans to their current Magenta, and that failed spectacularly as fuck (damn that was Oct '23?!). From what I can see, outside of 5G, it’s the same, just ~$20 more. Le sigh.
T-Mobile because we’re grandfathered into a $100 unlimited everything plan. We could go cheaper and such, but for now it’s okay.
Mostly anything I play in VR. I have a basic sim rig I use for Euro Truck 2 and American Truck Simulators, and some DiRT Rally 2 ever so often. Outside of upgrading to a rig with hydraulics and a buttkicker, it’s pretty immersive. For non-vehicular VR, I’m running around in Skyrim with a hefty modlist (1100 mods), and just the baseline mods like HIGGS, PLANCK, and the Community Shaders set of mods adds a huge amount of immersion with the ability to directly interact in the world.
Flat screen gaming, otoh, I would say Project Zomboid. Despite its simple appearance, the amount of mods available really amp up “realism”, in that you can add so much living to the world. The lifestyle mod alone adds a bunch of Sims-like layers to the gameplay.
Beat me to it. Was an amazing webcomic. Gotta see if I still have my sword-chucks around.
Add Bird-in-Hand and Blue Ball, PA to that list.
Had to cut out both my parents and sibling due to their homophobic remarks and my coming to terms with being gay. The politics just furthered the gap, and the last time I spoke with them in early 2023, “It’s all about that woke generation” came out of my dad’s mouth and that was the end. I don’t expect to hear about their passing, and I’m not sure I’ll care, despite them seemingly raising me to be a decent person. These are two humans who canvassed for Obama in '08 & '12, so it was sad to see them devolve.
'Cause right now on earth I can’t do jack
It’s not a full size vacuum, but I just picked up a Roomie Tec Stick Vacuum during Prime days for $45. I just looked on amazon.de, and there’s only one Roomie Tec vacuum, not the same as above, but it’s been good enough for a 500+sqft basement with a few throw rugs and 2 cats worth of fur.
Right there with you. Suffered with fractions in 4th grade, did okay from there until trig in high school (sophomore year?), then failed hard in calc 1 over the course of 5 undergrad tries. Finally got it, but damn, my brain could not handle the theoretical stuff. Maybe methods have changed in 20+ years, but that shit sits with you.
Don’t Get in the kiln
Could be, gotta check if the Slurpee machine gives you 200 health.
Only if it’s the BFG9000.
We have this card game called Ducking High which is basically a bunch of stoner questions and philosophical inquiries and get your mind all goofy. It’s honestly even good for non-high activities, lots of good icebreaker topics.
