Heck yeah. I didn’t mean to cast aspersions. I’m just tired of this trend of using technologies “just because” rather than having a legitimate need for them.

A lot of containerization is unnecessary and perpetuated by people who don’t know what they’re doing.
Errr… this has nothing to do with illegal content or even specifically NSFW content. Users should have the power to block instances they don’t want to. It’s impossible to find an instance that blocks all the instances an individual user wants to unless they host it themselves or are friends with the hosts.
Thanks. It’s hard to tell what’s happening with all these ‘network errors’ going on.
How are you doing that in the app (Jerboa)?
Yep. So much lag, lots of ‘network error’ in Jerboa.
Never change, free software </3
Users should have the ability to block entire instances themselves.

That’s not good enough. Some NSFW users may want to see that isn’t porn. Being able to block instances like “lemmynsfw” is way more effective.
I hope they don’t. Users should have the power to decide for themselves what content they want to see.
We really should have the ability to block entire instances as users.
Lot of network errors, but it could be jerboa.

They should be allowed. Whether or not they’re welcomed is up to the individual.
Sounds like discrimination based on sex. A clear violation of the Civil Rights act of 1964.
If it’s anything like their video player, it’s going to be complete garbage. Something I love about lemmy is how I can watch videos with no lag or spotty loading. Whoever wrote reddit’s video player needs to be shot.
You mean recording?
