While they are massively more common than in other fields, they are still a tiny minority.
It’s also worth noting that the toupee effect may be involved. A lot of trans people can pass, in a work environment, as their preferred gender. I know a few trans people that I would never have clocked as trans, except the info came out in discussions.

It’s IP67 rated. In theory I could, and still have a functional phone.
My phone has an insane battery. I only have to charge it every couple of days, even when using android auto (via wireless adapter). My charger also includes a cooling fan, and can push 30W. It’s not as efficient, but it’s damn convenient.
I’m not sure about as a power bank. It can do reverse wireless charging (QI) however.
I actually use it almost entirely wirelessly now. It’s a faff to open the waterproof cover on the usb C each night.

My current phone has a 10,600mah battery already…
It lets your phone use the larger screen for satnav. It also reconfigures it to a better setup for driving (bigger buttons and reduced complexity). This also means your phone doesn’t need to be sat in the sun, with its screen lit up for a couple of hours, and so overheating.
My phone no longer even leaves my pocket. It wirelessly links to the entertainment system.
That’s part of the reason a moon base could be viable. The sun outputs a reasonable amount of helium 3, which is great for fusion reactions. Unfortunately it tends to sit at the top of our atmosphere and get blown away again. On the moon, it gets captured by the dust in collectable quantities.
I never said it wasn’t useful, just a very low efficiency reactor. Then again, if it was better, it would burn out faster, which would be bad for life on earth.
Even the core only has an output of 200-300W/m^3.
The amusing thing is that the sun is actually quite a shit fusion reactor. It’s power per unit volume is tiny. It just makes it up in sheer volume. A solar level fusion reactor would be almost completely useless to us. Instead we need to go far beyond the sun’s output to just be viable.
It’s like describing one of the mega mining dumper trucks as an “artificial mule”.
IoT can be great. The key is, as you pointed out, to actually have personal control over it.
It also has to account for WAF (wife acceptance factor). If it doesn’t fail gracefully to a dumb version of itself, it’s not to be trusted

Ultimately it’s a slow and steady strategy. There goal is long term profitability, not short term gains. In the long term, the best strategy is not to piss off your customers.
The advantage of this is that it can snowball to impressive levels. At least until a exec with more education than brains does a pump and run on it. A mistake steam seems to know to avoid.
This is one of the biggest frustrations with nuclear power. The first power plants had issues (mostly due to them being bomb factory designs). We learnt from that, and designed better ones. They never got built. They were swamped in red tape and delays until they died.
Decades later, China comes in and just asks nicely. The designs work fine. China now leads the way, built on research we left to rot.
It’s also worth noting that there is a big difference between a fusion power plant and a fission one. China is doing active research on it, as is the west. There’s quite a friendly rivalry going on. We have also basically cracked fusion now. We just need to scale it up. The only big problem left is the tokamakite issue. The neutron radiation put off by the reaction transmutes the walls. Using radioactive materials as a buffer is an idea I’ve not heard of. I’m curious about the end products. A big selling point of fusion is the lack of long term waste. Putting a fission reaction in there too might lose that benefit.
