Why use this over Lemmy?
If I wanna type “f*ck” instead of “dang” I’ll do what I want
Can’t believe the audience score for that is so high lol
Super Mario Bros (1993)
It was objectively a trainwreck but it was awesome when you were 8 and It brought video games to the big screen for the first time. I will always love it.
Capitalism is amoral
EDIT: to be clear that’s A-moral not IM-moral
Party pooper
Working fine for me, but I hope it isn’t abandoned.
If I really get stuck and can’t give one option a higher priority than the other, I assume they are “tied” and pick either randomly or based on what solves my most immediate need.
Other differences: When you bought a newspaper you got a physical product. You could read it, keep it, frame it, craft with it, or whatever you want. It took labor and machinery to create and distribute. The online article costs nothing to make, isn’t something you can keep or use in any way, in fact at any point you might lose access to it.
That’s how they get ye
The only one that continues to bug me is using “an” instead of “a” before a word that starts with a consonant sound. I especially dislike the phrase “an historic” (as in “it was an historic victory”) which has bafflingly been deemed acceptable. Unless you’re a cockney, it should be “a historic”. The rule is to use “an” if the word starts with a vowel sound, and “a” otherwise. IMO.

It’s probably the best flavor we have
