In essence keepass is an open database format and a bunch of different software tools have been written to interact with it. You can quite happily share the same keepass database between different software, e.g. synced between desktop and mobile

I already hate them for access gating based on unnecessary labour, and deliberately making access more cumbersome for people not using chrome and using VPNs
But what really peeves me off, even though it’s much less important, is that they don’t localise them.

The total functional component was previously 25 lines long. Personally I would consider this different enough to be an entirely different project, but I guess this is a good way for the developer to avoid being asked to maintain something they’re not interested in.

Worth clarifying that it requires individuals to insert backdoors if told to, it’s not a blanket backdoor and frankly I’d be shocked if it held up in the high court.

My Windows (10) broke Bluetooth in an update over two years ago and the situation has not changed. Never had a problem with Linux on the same machine (dual boot).
If “it just works” was ever true on Windows, those days are behind us.
Koalas are quite capable of running across the ground.
This nonsense is why I’ve never set my XDG_HOME_DIRS to their actual values. A convenient button in file browsers isn’t worth the intrusion.
The deal breaker feature I’ve been waiting for is the ability to play daily podcasts first then serialised podcasts in order. I have this with Podcast Addict and it means I virtually never have to touch the app itself.

Catima can also handle pkpass (Apple wallet) files now, although last I checked it chokes on “pkpasses”, the zipped collective version
