I used to hate them for being slow and annoying. Now they drive like us and I hate them for being dicks. This morning, one of them made an insane move that only the worst Audi drivers in my area do, a massive left over a solid yellow across no stop sign with me coming right at it before it even began acceleration into the intersection.

Tbh I’ve decided I can live with less and less of this. I’ll never go back to the giant ad covered spaces. But if this doesn’t pickup or even dies, meh

Can I ask why they’re still the de facto? I run AMD on CPU and GPU and don’t consider purchasing otherwise when researching components (other than baseline for comparison and per cent cost)

Reading this as a third party… Someone came to learn and you’re being unnecessarily hostile.

This isn’t “why is it my responsibility to tell you, the offender, how to be decent” - it’s strangers opting in to inform strangers. Just prefix with your assumptions about definitions, and answer.

Not a comment on the merit of the article, but a tangential thought: Fediverse has presented the same amount of doom to scroll as the algorithms. I open my phone to get a break from work, life, etc, and any app I think to open for social or news, presents the same anxiety of “I just can’t deal with that type of shit right now; where can I bury my head in the sand?”
