Yup, that’s the same one I use as well.
Today, a bunch of new instances appeared in the top of the user count list. It appears that these instances are all being bombarded by bot sign-ups.

Hopefully the mods of the instances will notice this and remove these accounts quickly! Despite this, I think the mods of all instances, and of all communities, had better brace themselves for incoming spam and hate speech.
Yeah, for certain kinds of live conversations while involved in a group activity, it works fine. But only for that, in my opinion.
Yup, I agree wholeheartedly! It’s just not my thing.
I was a wee bit surprised (but not really, I guess) when just before the Reddit blackout everyone on Reddit was spamming their relevant Discord links for the relevant subreddit.
I could only think, “That’s no better!!”
We’ll see if that changes.
To add to that, Discord is an entirely different kind of interaction. Fine if that’s what you want, but not fine if you want something a bit more…static.
The auto-refreshing front page is very frustrating to use.

As always, the limits of tolerance are met when it comes to suggesting we tolerate intolerance. The boundary must be set there.
