I think it can only pull off when there are ways you can support the artist, with donations for example

When I played open source games around 15 years ago, these were all the same games mentioned. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of progress

Sounds good, would also be great to have some platform on the fediverse where open source music is shared, so that anyone could make their own spotify-like app to listen to it. And it would need to get some way to donate to the artists

Altough it is not really stupid, I bought the game Witcher 3 expecting I would’nt like it much. Turned out it is the best game I’ve played and bought the expansions too
