I once had a roommate who would get so excited about sleeping, he would giggle himself to sleep (I promise it’s true). The guy who shared the room often had to ask him to giggle quieter, because it would keep him up.

I prefer the pigpen cipher. It’s quick to learn and I’ve never met another person who saw it and knew what it was. I used it on notes that I passed to my girlfriend in class because teachers couldn’t read it.
