I own a tesla. My comment is not a dig on the car, but a possible explanation for the increased accident rate.

Another thing about Teslas is that even a slight fender bender that does no damage to an older car will cause damage. The bumpers are full of sensors, all pastic, and repairs are expensive.
I wonder if more minor accidents are reported in Teslas causing the numbers to be higher?
Because Musk is a vocal ass and so many on Lemmy can’t distinguish the good some of his companies do from the jerkoff owner.
Nestle does evil and is run by evil. Tesla is pushing the automobile industry in the direction it needs to go, but it is majority owned by evil. It’s not as simple as a keyboard activist response, so I’m looking forward to the downvotes as I point this out again.
Good luck ever trying to defend Tesla and Space X on Lemmy.
Honest question. I feel like I’ve seen this same story 5 times already… is it being reposted a lot?
My internet where I live is through cable and it’s terrible. Bad. Outtages all of the time. Down for days at times. So I switched to starlink. It’s fine. Works great EXCEPT WHEN IT RAINS HEAVILY.
Heavy rain blocks the signal. Elon Musk owns it.
Now, I have a t-mobile hotspot. It’s only $50 per month as opposed to the $110 for Starlink.
If you have no other decent option, Starlink is amazing. If you have other options, don’t give Musk your money.

The lower number of users is a feature right now.
Does it have any moderation functions?
Dude, you two broke up two months ago. Why are you still thinking about them?
What’s the name of the server you are running?
A large instance today will be a small instance in the future. There are hardly any users on lemmy compared to other more established platforms. So if lemmy is to ever handle a lot more users, stress testing the code makes a lot of sense.
What’s going to happen in the future, do you expect there to be 50,000 servers? That’s unrealistic.
Because people are generally unaware of what help there is for them out there.

A bot that posts sports team scores to a sports community? Sure, I guess. A bot that reports popular reddit posts? No way.
Some content bots make sense, but in a very narrow scope.
Seriously. At least put the twice daily Elon Musk stories in one thread.
It’s fucking ridiculous.
I’ve had a Z Fold 3 since it’s launch. I love it.
I’d like your impressions on the Z Fold 5. Try to sway my opinion on sticking with my 3.
Stocks. Investing in a corporation for earnings and dividends was once seen as a valid way to invest your money. Now stocks are all about finding the next wave and cashing out before they collapse.
