Lemmy and Mastodon require some extra thought processes that most people do not want or can’t work through. They want instant, fast and as much of it as possible.
Somehow this has to become so easy to understand and use that even the dimmest bulbs in society will have no trouble using it.
Upside? This will bring more usage and adoption. Downside? This will bring in more trash.
Sanity is not playing in to mainstream discourse anymore. The loonies are out and have been empowered. Best we can do is try to get them back on their meds and professional help.
We would all be just a little better off as a whole if we ate some beans instead of a steak more often than not.
They saw the movie Snowpiercer and now the future of humanity is eating bugs. And it very well could be. People have been eating bugs since, forever. Roaches will probably be around after many food sources are gone and we will eat them. You can bet on it.
Many cultures eat bugs for protein. The fact that this all becomes some kind of conspiracy thing just shows how stupid and gullible people have become.
I only use it for things like guards, wire/cap/cameral holders… gopro case… things like that. but the frames are all carbon fiber. There are templates to print the entire drone out off the printer but I have not done that.
You can get the electronics pretty cheap. It might be a fun project for you :)
I got one to print parts for my drones thinking it would be no big deal and it turned in to a hobby in itself.
I have gotten pretty good at it. Mostly in to freestyle and cinematic stuff. Never really got in to the racing aspect of it.
I wouldn’t say worst because it is a beautiful drive but it is gnarly… the road to Hana on the island of Maui, in the Nation of Hawaii (currently occupied by the United States).
Not sure what this place will evolve in to but it seems like a nice replacement for Reddit. There is a lot of work to be done for people to re-build the communities and transfer the information but if enough people buy in to it… years down the road this could be the place to be.

They gimped it for the masses but AI is going strong. There is no question of the power of GPT4 and others. LLM’s are just a part of the big picture.
