It seems I am out of the loop about gravity. How is it “unexplained”? Seems pretty straight forward (or “downward”) to me.
As a German, I can assure you, there are plenty of people with negative sentiments
Thank you! I have never heard of it. That’s crazy good deal! Almost too good to be true.
Reminds me of the situation in Germany at the moment. The federal constitutional court ruled 60 billion € Climate Credit for saving our future to be illegal. The Christian Party sued because of a dumb rule. But we just gave the military 100bn € out of the back pocket.
It’s crazy how so many people think it’s okay again to be openly antisemitic only because the conflict with Israel escalated again.
As a German, it always feels wrong being at a HipHop concert, when the crowd does this arm up and down thing.
I still have a similar shirt. Mine was white and the logo and font was glittering. Now you can hardly read it.
It was on a wedding. I was talking to a dude who got seated at our table. Somehow he managed to change the subject to gender and such, him not understanding why we need these new pronouns and such. I could already tell, that this conversation was heading in a bad direction. Then he said something like “I don’t care if people are gay, but at least some years ago, they would hide at home and be embarrassed about it!” That was the point when I turned around without another word and simply walked away. He didn’t understand what he did wrong. But I didn’t want to make a scene at the wedding. Also I am certain that it has no use discussing anything with people like that.
I’m actually trying to be very careful with my data, to the point where I get sidelooks from some people who don’t care at all. Yet I try to still be able to use the services I want to. Like Google Maps. I know that I am selling my data to them. But the service helps me so much in my everyday life that I am willing to pay this price. But also I use AdBlock on all of my devices. So I really don’t care too much about advertising. I’m more concerned about other consequences like, individual pricing, or change of government to a dictatorship which would prosecute me for my beliefs I posted online, or Netflix not fuing finishing the series because they already calculated that they wouldn’t make as much fuing money as they would like to.
“Hey, have you read today’s news: There where several cases of pneumonia in Wuhan, China, with no known cause. Probably only a local problem, which will be under control in a couple of weeks, tho. So don’t worry about it” - send by IE
Where’s my boi Dolan at? I always hated the Memes, but I still think he deserves to be on this page.
Awesome work nevertheless!
I support the idea, but I’m really skeptical. I bought the fairphone 2 when it came out and it just couldn’t keep up anymore after 2 years. My understanding was that there would be upgradable modules but the only thing I got was a little bit better camera and case.
It would be great if there wouldn’t be the need for more and more models but simply better modules to upgrade with the time.
There is a german (left) proverb “Mach kaputt, was dich kaputt macht.” Which translates to “Break what breaks you.”
In the sense of destroy the systems which try to break you.
Don’t worry, I stole this picture from the internet.

I totally agree. Yet I know plenty of people who don’t have a licence and don’t miss it. they usually can ask a friend, if they need car transportation. But you are dependent on someone else. Some make use of others very frequently, in which case it would be nice to recompense a little, for fuel now and then. Because having a licence and a car is very expensive. Which on the other side is a plus point again for them selves. Because you live cheaper.
