That’s amazing but I wouldn’t be at all surprised to here that anyone who did got it reversed if not just outright banned from Google. I certainly wouldn’t have tried in on my main Google account.

My personal truck doesn’t have Android auto or Apple car play (I thought it was something I could get when I bought it but turns out I was a year early, whoops) and my work truck has it. I 100% will not be buying any car that doesn’t have it as a feature. It’s not something I need all the time because for most drives just using Bluetooth is perfectly fine but if I want to use the GPS for anything Android auto and car play are just so much better than using your phone for that. Everything is kinda frivolous to though.
I’ve been the guy to send the do you still have this and then ghost before. I thought the button to instantly send the seller a message without confirming was the send this to a buddy button. Whoops sorry guys.
Previously was an audible subscriber for years. Paused it sometimes when I didn’t know what to use credits on. A couple months ago I got an email that my credits would be expiring in a couple months if I didn’t use them… Used all 5 that day to buy the rest of a series I was slowly getting through, canceled my sub and figured out how to host it myself on audiobookshelf. Haven’t used audible since.
He should have atleast had a fire watch. Amateurs.
I made an account on a news site once just to test Firefox relay and my custom domain. Can’t for the life of me figure out how to delete the account. Had to set relay to just block all the emails. To the tube of like 400… In less than a month
- I can’t have both an android and iPhone connected at the same time, because I won’t be able to use Android Auto, I’m forced into Car Play
Just got a new work truck, a Ford, with android auto and car play. This morning was the first time I plugged an iPhone and android in at the same time. I had plugged in the android first and a quick look I wasn’t able to switch to the iPhone without unplugging the android. I never plugged the android back in so idk if it prefers one over the other or just whatever is plugged in first. Could that be the same issue?
The FOSS and privacy preachiness really gets to me sometimes. I will admit it has gotten me to think about taking steps towards degoogling my life and things which admittedly is probably a pretty good idea but God sometimes it feels like if you aren’t using Linux and graphene OS and browsing everything from behind atleast 3 vpns you might as well not even breath because you don’t protect yourself correctly.
Slowly raises hand and looks around. I really need to change that password but I’m so scared I’ll forget it 😂
I have a few air tags tied to my work iPhone. My main phone is a pixel and I didn’t even realize you could connect them together. As soon as you open an air tag near an iPhone you get a little pop up prompting you to set it up and off you go. They only update location when they come within range of a new iPhone but that’s pretty constant anymore.
My daughter is on the spectrum and I have one in her bookbag. It’s cool sometimes being able to watch her bus ride to and from school as she passes by different phones 😂
I don’t think it’s open source but we use our groceries. Just links to an email only no password. They just send you a code when you link the email to a new app. It’s also cross platform if that matters at all. Also requires no permissions granted to run and only requests a camera permission to scan barcodes.
ahhhh ok. I’ve seen it a couple times and its confused me both times lol
How do you make your name like that?
I disagree about the natural talent one. From my perspective thats the obvious first pick. At work I’m currently training to be a Crane Operator and struggle busing hard with it. Like yeah I could use it to get muscles but thats not even where I first went just because imo the ability to quickly learn a new skill is invaluable. imagine being a natural at negotiating business dealings to get a favorable outcome for your side. once you figure out how to turn your natural talent into money a lot of the other things will be able to fall into place.
Currently using liftoff and its been great and done everything I want it to do but will be jumping ship the second Sync for lemmy comes out. !syncforlemmy@lemmy.world
Side not, holy shit when you put an “!” the start typing a sub while on desktop it starts to autopopulate then you can pick what you want and it just puts in the formatting. Idk if that is instance specific or something lemmy itself just does but it’s awesome.
Seconding this. If it fails twice for me I wipe my finger on emy short and that fixes it probably 85% of the time.
All the Jellyfin votes had me downloading it and before it even got downloaded you changed my mind lol. Just gonna stick with plex. I like simple and already have the lifetime sub.
I just recently replaced the screen on an iPad idk the gen but they are all about the same in the screen replacement in my experience and the screen on my Pixel 7 Pro. Both were actually shockingly easy and imo didn’t require special tools. Just need a heat gun, eyeglass screwdriver, etc. You can get the kits with all the “special tools” but really you could make it happen with a butter knife.
I was having trouble in liftoff and the browser. Cleared data and cache from liftoff thinking maybe something got messed up there and now I can’t even log back into my .world account 🤷♂️ I’ll hang here for a bit I guess.
Maybe they fixed it or something at some point but mine suuuuucked until I got a new screen with a new fingerprint sensor. Now I don’t have issues very often and if I do its from junk on my finger or screen or something and it clears up with a quick wipe.
