11 years ago I switched to Reddit from Fark. Before that I switched to Fark from Slashdot (mid 5 digit user ID).

Holy hell, this sounds very familiar…oh yeah, this was the same route I took as well. Not sure when I left /. though.

I just used random strings. I’m too lazy and don’t care enough to give Reddit and u/spez the finger. I just deleted my comments and then deleted my account

I deleted my reddit account yesterday. I figured what’s a better way to celebrate Independence Day by deleting my reddit account while watching fireworks and drinking a beer.

Of course, I used power delete to remove my comments before deleting my account.

Have you tried excluding reddit from your search results? Don’t forget reddit is nothing but a regurgitation of the internet. The info you want is still out there.

Exactly. I don’t know any of my passwords except my vault password, which I change every 6 months

I use bit warden and I love it. And yes, I would recommend using a password locker. Just make sure you do some research before selecting one.
