I’m not entirely sure “made for 5 years olds” is accurate. I had the game around that age and certainly couldn’t beat it either.

I have three ONN 4K android TV boxes with smarttube loaded on them. I only really watch YouTube and movies from my file server so it’s perfect for me. Plus they’re dirt cheap. I replaced all of my old Chromecasts with them when Google started serving Ads in the YouTube app when casting to a TV which they surprisingly didn’t do for quite a few years.
Exactly. I was about to rip my hair out before I thought to check my UEFI settings.
Reminds me of that time I updated my UEFI firmware which automatically re-enabled secure boot which caused my Nvidia driver to fail to load on boot because Nvidia doesn’t sign them so I was stuck with the noveau(spelling?) driver which would crash when I tried to log into my DE. What an adventure figuring that out was. Oh, and the cherry on top: updating the firmware didn’t fix the initial issue I was troubleshooting.
Remember when Google aquired YouTube and stated they didn’t intend to change anything? Remember when the only ads were those little banners you had to close? We’ve come such a long ways from where we started and what is considered “sane” these days would have been an affront back then. Google truly did slow boil the frog.
Nice! I really want to get PMOS setup to do NAS duties but I can’t find the sweet spot of a device that’s both cheap and supported, and has fast enough USB speeds to be worth it. Seems like it would be a fun project to tinker with though.
I literally saw it on FB yesterday. Posted completely seriously too. Lol!
Yeah, and that’s understandable but this was appearing in my discover feed by default which is kinda ehhhhh. If someone is into that sure, but most people aren’t and if they see that as part of their first impression of a platform it’s probably going to be a turnoff.
That and weird furry diaper art.

Probably some more stuff I’m forgetting. It’s basically my everything box.
Adobe does anti-consumer shit. More at 11.
Good, we don’t have time for the demented.
This argument is covered in the article.
I wouldn’t say it’s better in terms of features or polish. In that regard it still has quite a ways to go. However it is certainly better in terms of freeing yourself from Google and being in control of your own photo library. I’ve been using it since late last year and for my needs it’s honestly been great!
Meh, I just use Google Docs. Libre office is also usable in a pinch, but it’s a little… clunky.
I think the point they’re getting at Is that you can’t use a self-hosted vpn to hide your piracy activity because the link is registered to yourself.
It actually is available on the website, but like most stores their mobile web experience isn’t great.
That actually made me laugh out loud. 😂
The Lowe’s app is actually really handy. You can look up any item and it will tell you the exact isle and bay it’s in for your store. No more wandering around or hunting for an employee to ask. It’s the only store app I actually keep on my phone.
I just want you to know, I appreciated your deez nuts joke.
