The sake of credibility? What decides that though? Likes? Likes are a big problem imo. It doesn’t really do anything except create echo chambers.
I’ve gotten banned from places on here for simply stating facts that certain people don’t like and yes, you can move to another instance but there are only a few instances where you can reach a decent sized audience.
I don’t think Lemmy will end up being much more different than Reddit. It’s supposed to be less censored and all of that but it’s really not
Why is it when anyone criticizes Hamas, they’re accused of criticizing Palestinians?
Google sux, I used to love DDG, and the they stopped indexing Yandex which imo made it just as bad as google
The way the article describes Turkey and the press is the same thing that’s been happening in the US with the legacy (state funded) media. Hopefully, that’s changing now though.
