  • I’m going into every single office building I can find and just hitting “Ctrl+z” randomly on peoples keyboards as I float around.

Maybe the occasional screen rotate. Most offices workers would not know how to fix their screen being upside down or sideways.

For the bosses I would change the keyboard over to dvorak layout or something.

CEOs I would probably alter their email signature slightly in an offensive way so they get in trouble and possibly fired.

I can think of so many wonderful things to do as a ghost lol

  • I had two fairly old reddit accounts (10+ years and 100s or thousands of comments and post karma) get nuked without them giving me a reason. They just said I broke TOS. I appealed and asked what rule I broke and it was instantly denied. I still have no clue what rule I allegedly broke.

I tried making a new account with a different email on a new device using a new Internet connection and it got banned after 30 minutes.

Fuck reddit. Banning people and never giving them a reason or a chance to correct their mistake (if they even made one) is ludicrous.

  • USA. Despite what people will tell you around here we aren’t crumbling to bits or shooting each other in the streets.

What the federal government does has ultimately very little effect on my day to day life. I go to work. I come home. I get high and pet my cats too much. I play video games with friends I’ve made over the course of my life. I eat dinner and I crash. I’ll repeat this pattern all week and then on weekends I do chores and visit friends/family.

Other than that everything is still functional. Safety hasn’t gone up or down. It’s still exactly as safe as it was under Obama and Biden eras. Pretty safe as long as you avoid certain places or hanging out with the wrong crowds.

8/10. Room for improved always but I’m not really concerned.

If you do end up buying the camera just be aware that you need to buy a properly rated SD card to go along with it. I stupidly bought a massive card so now I have basically a rolling month+ of driving on there at all times. Cut into1 minute chunks lol.

Though it has been nice being able to mark moments by hitting the button on the camera itself (it just marks the file and moves it aside so it won’t get written over later). Downloading the files from the camera to my phone takes ~5 minutes to get the camera linked to my phone and download the 1 min file. Thankfully it’s only for emergencies or if I saw something crazy so I don’t have to do it often.

  • This must be why all the shows feel like they were written by a high schooler. Constantly repeating information like the viewer isn’t paying attention. Constant visual AND auditory exposition.

Netflix and streaming as a whole enjoyed a brief reign at the top, but unfortunately they never learned their lesson and we ended up right back where we started.

Too many tv channel packages=more sailing of the high seas. When they made it so almost everything could be found in one place for a small fee we all rejoiced and many got off the ship. But then they went right back to too many channel packages (just now in the form of a hundred individual streaming services) and now we return once more to the high seas.

I bought this camera in December of last year. Tinkered around with all the settings. Bought an SD card that was ultimately way bigger than I needed, but I have zero complaints about the camera itself. The video is high enough resolution that you’ll probably have enough detail to work out what happened. The wide FOV helps catch stuff that happens a bit left and right of the front of your car. The audio is great (if you aren’t blasting music like I always am).

I wouldn’t recommend mounting it to the dash itself as that will result in a very low angle for the footage, but it’s your car. Do what you gotta do. I mounted mine behind my rear view mirror so I cannot even see it while driving. I used the included adhesive cable management clips to run the cable along the edge of my windshield and eventually had it drop down to my cigarette lighter charger. It’s not a “professional” grade install, but it’s meant for function not beauty.

The mic will definitely pic up your own audio (again if no music is blasting) but I don’t know how well it would pick up audio of someone outside the car. I would imagine with no music playing and a window down or door open you would be able to catch a conversation.

The app and getting videos off the camera is a little bit of a hassle but once you do it a few times it gets easier.

I’ll do my best to answer any questions if you have any about that specific model. It’s the only dash cam I have ever bought so I have no real comparison to work from, but the few people I have shown it to liked it more than theirs so take that how you will lol.

I used to work at a Costco. There were two long stretches of parking lot that had no cart corrals anywhere nearby. They were at the farthest points of the lot on either end. Despite all the employees begging them to add a corral in those spots the manager never did. But he would always complain about carts being abandoned way out there constantly.

I think a 30 seconds round trip to return a cart is more than fair. If you cannot reasonably locate a Coral (or the store does not have one within that walking distance timeframe) I think its fair to attempt to store the cart in such a manner that it doesn’t block someone else trying to park.

All that being said the average shopper at our location wouldn’t even attempt to find a corral. Often times they would just leave them in the empty space next to their car blocking a parking spot. Usually within 20 feet of an actual corral. Sometimes they would literally yell at one of the cart runners from a distance something like “wouldn’t wanna put you out of a job!” Before they just left their cart slowly rolling across the lot unattended.

If you ever want to lose whatever small amount of hope you had left for the basic decency of the human race just work at a Costco for a little while.

People would leave their trash in the carts constantly. They would spill food and drinks all over the kids seats and just leave them there. They would almost never put them into the corrals properly. They would just shove them towards the corral from a distance which almost always cause the carts to jam up at angles and then the corral would over flow and eventually people would just leave them with their front wheels put over the curbs right next to the corrals that was now spilling over with 7 carts because nobody decided to properly put the cart away and instead just pushed it to the edge and called it quits.

I have worked all kinds of service jobs over the years. Costco by far had the most selfish and shitty customer base out of all of them. You can tell by the way many of them spoke to employees that they felt entitled to treating everyone like shit because they paid a membership. Hell some of them would even say exactly that whenever they felt even slightly inconvenienced or slighted. Just right out the gate with “I pay a membership fee blah blah blah blah”. Every once in a blue moon they had s legitimate argument to be making, but 99% of the time they were just throwing s fit because they wanted to get their way and the managers would bend over backwards for the customers every single fuckin time.

Sorry this turned into a rant about the worst job I ever had.

Yeah many people are too selfish to put away a shopping cart these days.
