We’re all aware of that. The transitionary step of socialism has had many well documented successes, along with setbacks and things to learn from.

The issues with capitalism are also well known. Industrial capitalism does a good job at developing the productive forces, but neoliberal (financial) capitalism serves no purpose other than to funnell money to the very top of the economic elite.

I watched a video on this a while back. They seriously try to create this culture of superiority in their users. Convince them you have to be smart to learn how to use their products. Then after you’re used to it, it makes switching difficult.

A huge portion of the west thinks that living a good life is just buying things. The best things in life are free (like being part of the Lemmygrad community).

I just want to say I fuckin hate Apple products. I used them for 10 years - they aren’t intuitive. They are purposely unintuitive. Not saying Google or Microsoft are good by any means, but I don’t usually want to smash them to bits when I use them.
