Nah, it would mean that you cannot copyright a work created by an AI, such as a piece of art.
E.g. if you tell it to draw you a donkey carting avocados, the picture can be used by anyone from what I understand.

So hypothetical here. If Dreddit did launch a system that made it so users could trade Karma in for real currency or some alternative, does that mean that all fan fictions and all other fan boy account created material would become copyright infringement as they are now making money off the original works?
In the United States there was a judgement made the other day saying that works created soley by AI are not copyright-able. So that that would put a speed bumb there.
I may have misunderstood what you though.
Veal Parm was one of my favorite meals as a kid.
That said, I am not a vegetarian today either, I have cut back on how much and what I eat though.
Sockeye aren’t red most of their lives. Just when they return to fresh water on their endeavor to reproduce. ( die)
I find it interesting that their heads turn a different color than their body.
Oh cool. That’s a great example of a usecase. Thanks
Only if it’s whole milk, if it’s skim milk that there is lesser milk. I once saw a man drink that and his dick fell off. Need at least 3 of them milks for a iphone.
Been while since I bought waxed paper, is it cheaper than parchment paper? I’m assuming it must be or why wouldn’t you just use parchment paper instead?
Yeah, I’m just learning to block it and move on.
Reminds me of the bill Desantis signed in Florida a few months back making it so gas powered vehicles HAVE to be purchased from a dealer and cannot be purchased directly from the manufacturer. Telsa doesn’t get hit by that bill, surely has nothing to do with Desantis owning a Tesla.
Somebody who isn’t a giant asshat loudly trying to manipulate the populace’s political opinions.
Otherwise they would know. Being famous isn’t always a good thing.
Now if you asked who were the lead engineers/designers for said vehicles it would mean more about the vehicle itself (but most everyone wouldn’t have looked them up or found their names)
I played Sniper Elite 5 on my fiances Xbox the other day and hadn’t played games in forever. (34 years old now) I knew I could remap the buttons if needed, but the melee button they made Y. I pressed down the right stick every damn time as a built in reaction from years back.
I don’t know why I felt I needed to say that, but I tell you when you find yourself looking through binoculars and getting lit up at point blank range it reminded me how frustrating games can get during quick scenarios.
I read ~88% of its 800+ million dollar a year revenue comes from search engines.
Surely if that’s true it would have no impact on their decisions /s
“The majority of Mozilla’s revenue is generated from search functionality included in our Firefox product through all major search partners including Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yandex, Amazon, Ebay and others.”
Everything you just said was optimistic as fuck.
750 employees, 826 million dollars in revenue a year.
So what do they choose. Fire 700 employees and go down to 26 mill revenue?
Edit: when the hivemind disperses and sees Firefox follow Google in using tokens and blocking ad blockers, you may not see it as one of the dumbest thing you’ve read before.
2 years from now Firefox will have blocked adblockers, and there will be chromium based browsers (not Chrome) that won’t have them blocked.
I don’t see why people seem to be thinking a large company in a capitalistic landscape isn’t going to side with profits. Firefox will oppose it openly right now and take the new users and then move to the same without lube and without apologies.
Small browsers that still have some morals before going public will build browers off chromium because of its ease, and they will be able to exclude those blocks. Likely means we will be using different browsers every few years until something else changes.
Maybe I’m pessimistic here, but anyone who just moved from Reddit to Lemmy should know that Firefox isn’t the answer, it is another greed driven overlord.
Mimicking the tokens on the otherhand… those sites we will need to boycott if possible.
When companies stop paying them so much for making them more money.
Everyone in the U.S. calls it Australia that I know, some other countries do as well.
Wikipedia lists it as Australia for us as well. (All textbooks did here)
The reasoning we were taught is that Continents were large land masses, which Oceania unlike the other 6, isn’t really a landmass so much, rather just the name of the tectonic plate.
Unless they didn’t pay attention they were taught it here in the U.S.
No one should be able to make a logical leap from the way people refer to hitler in the U.S. to anything attempting at equality or socialistic.
There are 2 seperate terms that are taught here that could confuse people though. State and Australia. Using the term state for a U.S. state like Utah or New York is somehow different than using the term state to define Germany or Pakistan. (Generally we are taught just to call them countries)
Australia on the other hand is taught to be a Country, and a Continent. Other places teach it under the name Oceania I believe which could confuse people. Saying New Zealand is in Australia would be both right and wrong. It is a part of the Australian continent, not a part of the country.
So if you give a human and a system 10 tasks and the human completes 3 correctly, 5 incorrectly and 3 it failed to complete altogether… And then you give those 10 tasks to the software and it does 9 correctly and 1 it fails to complete, what does that mean. In general I’d say the tasks need to be defined, as I can give very many tasks to people right now that language models can solve that they can’t, but language models to me aren’t “AGI” in my opinion.
