Scholarships and Harvard grads don’t make a school or its students “good”. Sounds like the kids at your school were just as horrid as the kids at the one OP’s son goes to as well. My condolences. But where I lived I didn’t know a single kid who thought reporting to the man made you a snitch if it saved an underage girl from being abused. Kids who did stuff like that were considered heroes. Not saying my school was full of saints, it wasn’t, but they had standards. At least they weren’t completely depraved of all humanity. I wouldn’t want to keep my kid in a school that would bully someone just for saving a young girl.

No offense but if the people at your son’s school are so disgusting that they’d retaliate for him reporting an underage girl’s abuse then I would consider taking him out of that school anyway. I cannot imagine anyone at the school I went to when I was his age being that depraved, and I hated most of my schoolmates so I don’t say that easily. That must be a school full of extra shitty kids that you don’t want your son to be around.

Tell your son that not reporting this to police could put that girl’s life in danger. He might be bullied at school, but she might end up dead. If he is so opposed to asking for help to the point of letting something like this continue then he could possibly use a few visits to a counselor to help him with that because it’s an extremely unhealthy mindset to have. Imagine if it was HIM in her position, what would you want one of his older coworkers to do in that situation? Think very hard about that scenario and how it would make you feel.

There are no laws stating that we have to watch or see ads, so forcing us to watch them feels like a huge overstep. Companies shouldn’t be able to have this much control over a public service.

I don’t remember if it always did every time from the beginning, but it did last time.

I considered that at first but there are a lot of long title series that don’t fall under the isekai umbrella, while the isekais that fall under the shounen umbrella tend to still have the shorter titles.

It just so happens that most isekai fall under the shoujo/ecchi/comedy umbrella, hence the large amount of overlap. So while there’s definitely an association, I wouldn’t necessarily consider it an isekai thing specifically.

Those are two different genres. Most shounen series still have simpler titles. Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Black Clover, Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia, Promised Neverland, etc. Ones with long titles tend to be comedy, shoujo, or ecchi.

Just because you want to vent about an ex with friends that doesn’t mean you have to send your ex money. Even if you write “you suck” on the bills, you’re still doing them a favour.

Bro, I don’t know how you missed this, but your church is the minority among Christians. I come from a large Christian family so I’m not saying that as someone who hates Christians, I’m saying that as someone with two eyes and common sense. And I’m also someone who is not straight so I’m also speaking from experience myself. Christians who ignore these issues within their community are only enabling them. I get that you feel defensive about your religion because it’s a part of who you are so an attack on it feels like an attack on you, but if you really care about it then you should be motivated to work on improving it so it can live up to your love for it, instead of getting mad at people for being rightfully unhappy about a group that has a long, long history of abusing lgbt people, and which hasn’t exactly done a lot in recent years to improve their reputation.

Just let it sit for a little while until the hot parts warm the cold parts.

You can make “willing to change and improve” part of who you are. I think far too many people interpret “be yourself” as “never change, improve, or self-reflect”, when it should really mean something more like “don’t pretend to be someone you aren’t”. Any changes you make should be sincere. Being yourself doesn’t have to mean being stagnant.
