Definitely!
This is fucking awesome, I’m so excited🔥🤩
True but I think most if not all of these issues can be circumvented using ADB or root
Understandable, have a good day!
68GB/s, that’s fast
Why not firefox?
A step in the right direction, good job
That’s good!
The feature set is simply not there. You’re also ignoring Android limitations.
Can you please elaborate?
While you do that I did some calculations comparing the Radeon 780M GPU (which is used in some handheld gaming PCs and mini PCs) and the Adreno 740 the fastest smartphone GPU right now and based on 9 different synthetic benchmarks from notebookcheck in best case scenario for both GPUs, the Adreno 740 is on average 84.67% the performance of the Radeon 780M which according to notebookcheck data can run cyberpunk 2077 at 720p@88fps low settings and 1080p@53fps low settings.
Of course, I’m not expecting to get 84.67% of the performance of the Radeon 780M in the real world, that would silly and naive cause this is emulation there gonna be overhead and these are synthetic benchmarks they don’t and can’t reflect the real world performance for reasons some of which are obvious to us but I’m expecting a good gaming experience when and if this project matures, get to a stable and feature complete state.
I just read it all and I don’t entirely agree with all the reasons that the writer stated to not use brave (the CEO donating to ban same-sex marriage and the idea of BAT in itself I find interesting and I like but I ended up disabling it because I got nothing from it and I read somewhere how they were taking the donations that people made to the creators that do not have BAT or know about it without telling the users) but let’s say he got me to question whether I would recommend Brave anymore, either way with what Google is doing right now I’m recommending Firefox to everyone I know whenever I can for the cause
I must say I really missed the option to ‘open links in apps’ and use ‘external download manager’ in Firefox mobile
Really informative article, thanks!
So fucking true, the brain can be a real bitch sometimes
Like the Asus ROG phone 7 ultimate (fastest Qualcomm SoC and 16GB of RAM) and the ZTE nubia Red Magic 8S Pro+ (fastest Qualcomm SoC but OCed and 24GB of RAM)
If an OCed Nintendo switch is capable of this then I’m pretty sure it is technically possible to get cyberpunk 2077 running in a playable state
A typical example of planned obsolescence what an effective way of killing my plans to get an Asus phone as my next daily driver assuming this is true
Some important context from the article:
A Reddit user claims that the company’s developer liaison on its Telegram channel has no knowledge of any such development. “According to them, the unlock tool server is in maintenance and will resume in Q3,” the person writes; We’ve written to ASUS to clarify the situation and will update this article when and if we hear more.
But here is the thing why do I need to use a tool to connect to a server just to be allowed to unlock the bootloader? I don’t and didn’t need such a thing to unlock the bootloader of my Samsung Galaxy phone (planned obsolescence ladies and gentlemen)
I was going to do the same today (switch from gmail) but got interrupted by other things
Just tried it, pretty slow (6.4 MB/s) maybe due to encryption (as mentioned in the github repo) but anyway it doesn’t utilize WiFi direct, works almost the same as every other app out there (both devices must be connected to the same network)
Just checked the github repo and I’m honestly disappointed seems like the devs ain’t interested in supporting WiFi Direct, they can’t see what sets it apart, well you know what they say if you want something then do it yourself
