Never seen it like this, but I think I prefer it the way it is now. I don’t want my inbox here reading like email, I’m perfectly fine with clicking the comment to go back to the conversation. It also gives you a chance to see if there are further comments below the immediate reply.
I know it’s not the same as woke, the word just hits the same level of annoyingness for me.
I’m all for shutting down those who support Russia right now, I just feel like using buzzwords makes it more difficult to take people seriously.
I’m literally logged into an account for porn specifically, and I don’t have this problem. I just selct “hide nsfw” and almost never see anything nsfw on all.
I almost never see this, but I see complaints about “tankies” all the time. I’m not even sure what a tankie is, but it seems about as stupid as the term “woke”.
This is the first time I’ve ever thought about them.
This seems like a good thing? Why is this infuriating to you? Care to explain?
Yes, if you tried to scale them up to meet ship capacities, but even the idea of that is ludicrous. Container ships are one of the largest polluters that exist, hopefully this technology can reign that in. Their argument sounds like whataboutism to me.
The article is literally laying a path forward while still using ships. The fuck are you on about?
It’s also the only acceptable level.
But probably a few hamsters.
Stadium roof looks to be open, might be raining.
I would if it’s outdoors and raining, but I’m tall, and I’d hold it up extra high to be sure I wasn’t ruining it for others.
You want to be a freak?
Might just be where you’re from. People definitely use freak as an insult irl.
Upvote for quality content, downvote for useless trash.
I mostly try not to do much voting though, and rarely comment. I find people are too positive on lemmy, and while that seems like a good thing, it often leaves no room for dissenting opinions to be expressed.
I don’t use alarms either, I’m one of those annoying people who just wakes up on time lol
My company’s IT department is terrible. Nothing is done right. And they’re a multi-billion dollar company.
This is the most likely cause. My work has this too, but it’s every 30 days, and you can’t use the same password as any of your last 21 passwords. Which means I need 21 unique passwords. So it’s Password1, Pasword2, etc until Password 21, when I then loop back around. Great job security team!
Formula 1, but talking about it here really isn’t the same. I want to have a conversation with someone about it, get excited, or upset, with them, the internet just doesn’t do it.
