Don’t ask me what my name means
Just started my retirement fund last year, so far I have lost only $4K but I was being very moderate in my investments.
From my point of view of life, it feels like the belief of “Do unto others as you would like others to do to you” is no longer something most people seem to believe in.
Same here, but my battery started to go out and puff up so I replaced it for a bigger one, put 1tb of ssd storage, a USB-C charger, and bluetooth. Now I don’t have to preload music from my +200gb library and I have room for a couple of movies :D
Honest question, how bad is the situation with both gangs and cartels there? And, what are the areas of Mexico to avoid?
I work from home, but yeah.
Vanilla FF here. LibreWolf was great but too many websites broke under it for some reason and didn’t with vanilla FF even with all the privacy settings turned to 11.
Honest noob question. I currently connect to my self hosted server using Twingate. How would this be different? can you give me an Eli5 what a reverse proxy manager would make my setup better?
To pass your seed and knowledge to the next generation.
Teach, fuck, prosper.
I live in the south, and if a small business is pushing their religion or politics to their customers, that’s an instant no from me.
Wait, what happened with Jack black?
Ah, gotcha. I understand democratic by the direct definition, not an implied meaning. Thanks for explaining it.
When you refer to becoming democratic, you mean like how it has been until a couple of years ago? Or, are you referring to China suddenly becoming Capitalist instead of Communist?
The thing with tailscale is that its just a VPN connection – from my understanding. Why not just self host your own VPN server?
What’s wrong with Mullvad for streaming and privacy? They have fast server speeds, and their hardware can’t physically log user activity.
Reminds of the pro-brexit voters when they truly understood what they voted for

Backups?
Yeah Good point. the storage is the most expensive part. I did find these SSDs at a good price and with high reviews on Amazon which would cost $356 for 4 before taxes (a little better that 480€, but not by much).
Edit: Another thought would be to use the sata hat on the pi and get some sort of adapter to work with the platter drives but that would just add in the complexity and would likely require a PC power supply for the drives which would also add costs.
