I had to dip into the wiki from time to time to get caught up on small details. There’s a lot to miss, no doubt.
Username checks out.
I’ve read all of BLAME! and I still don’t get it. Sad/Bad meme.
There seems to be people/bots down-voting critical takes up and down this very thread. What chumps.
That’s a neat trick!
Thanks a million for this!
Thank you! I’m in a similar boat having picked up a replacement Venu a few months ago and this will absolutely be my last Garmin device. My Strava account was nuked some time ago when I couldn’t fire up the app without “Subscribe!” popups. My body is ready for open health tracking.
You’re not wrong.
I’ve used NixOS on my laptop as a learning experience for the past year and find your summary solid. Rollbacks = 🍰.
My bugbear has been the Nix language itself. It’s functional, (a first for me,) and with the documentation lacking, I’ve been thrown for more than a few loops. That said, I have indeed learned quite a bit as a result. Still a ways to go, but here’s to the journey!
Wow, the echo-chamber vibes are strong on this one.
Then it is on you to engage with the replies to your comment instead of whinging into the void.
Excellent read, thanks!
Glad I steered clear of Proton, change my mind. No wait, don’t.
Seems reasonable. Probably not that different to boot.
Somehow I missed out on this device when searching for open watches, thanks for the info.
This is not true.
Same here, though I’m slowing down on watching. My son and I love YouTube music as well, we share tunes regularly and I like the recommendation feed. I use Linux and wish there was a more libre solution, but it seems lemmy doesn’t like paying for anything whatsoever.
Depending a lie with whataboutism is a bad look.
Why not just admit you don’t know, but enjoy being paranoid and conspiratorial in this space?
There’s peanut butter in my chocolate!
My problem is it’s on sub-stack. So no.
