I see it said agian and agian. because its true. Firefox is one of, if not the best of the mainstream browsers. (Not included its many forks) but Mozilla is a horrible caretaker of it. Mozilla does not focus on firefox and they dont care/believe in it nearly as much as its users or devs who fork it.

The motivations of a company are extremely important, and has Mozilla does not care for a lightweight, good, privacy centric browser, the enshitification will and has corrupt firefox.

It’s only a matter of time until it is as bad as chromium or flat out joins it.

It affects them, yes, but it doesn’t only affect them. It’s just a poison in the well tactic that can affect them. but because it isn’t specific even more companies will work to “fix it”. Also while it can waste resources, it doesn’t stop A.I. training in most cases or render them incompetent.

I think the point is it doesn’t specifically target “AI trainers” but web crawlers, which are used by more then just A.I. trainer, for example search engines.

Reading this, it’s my understanding this ruling says Google must host rival “app store” apps in Google play store and must provide them with a copy of all apps on the playstore for them to distribute. Developers do not opt in to the new app-stores, but they can opt out.

See, that may be the case. Or it might not be. It’s a risk vz reward right now. I am not good with computers and have had my PC, laptop, phone and smart watch, inexplicably break, get stuck on boot and had to have them repaired. Yes. I have win 10 and 11 devices. They both lack certain options and I’ve had to go around them, like using control panel. In this case only the win 11 device is at risk of getting much worse.
