And I think google offers to translate text from picture for a while? So why wouldn’t they implement this to YouTube? And of course they have to moderate the content if possible.

Mint flavored all the way through, baybeh!
Yeah. I looove the diarrhea I get from eating tubes of mint toothpaste.
You think recruiting new blood is the biggest hurdle right now?
Hopefully they realize it’s not healthy for Wikipedia in long term and make a course correction.
No idea how they work internally but probably some kind of mentoring program would be in order. There’s no way someone relatively new will learn all their quirks that have been developed in the past decade and too many people on the internet expect you to know everything already to be worth a shit to them.
Which I think is kinda weird decision since they could’ve just hidden a setting that unlocks all addons in the options. But maybe they were so incompatible at the time that it wasn’t worth the headache.
This is an incredibly astute point. Haven’t thought about it like that.
Modifying the APK with their own API key?
Thats what goes for mild inconvenience these days.
Heh, I can appreciate that. Just commented so nobody will use that as a justification why fines shouldn’t be based on revenue.
For real, it’s ugly and way too bright and fucking stupid but whoever had a week to create x-shaped disturbingly blinking sun did an okay job imo.
Aren’t there usually minimum fines anyway even if they’re based on revenue?
Yeah, I understood they were talking about pop-ups generally but I guess not.
Reddit has had a pop-up for years afaik on mobile, always pushing their app.
That’s faster than expected.
Yeah, that would’ve been at least interesting.
Everyone clapping their own backs by helping to write fuck spez in a Reddit game sure is something. Just childish.
I’m thinking about going back, at least as a site to visit between all these new ‘reddit-likes’, but I’m not going to be yelling like a goddamn child like I’d be above it. Sure, criticism I’ll give if warranted but that goes with everything.
Kinda don’t see what the big deal is. Probably best use for “unique” goods. Dunno if they use blockchain because as I’ve understood it that’s just a resource hog.
But selling users unique avatars? Don’t see the appeal and they are fugly and seem dumb but like that’s so inoffensive nothing burger.
I wonder could you interpret this as AI created movie script isn’t copyrightable but the actual filmed movie is. That would invite some weird competition, like we’ve seen over the years with the copycat movies.
