maybe it needs a little curation, but once you’ve blocked the instances, communities and users that are personally annoying to you, it’s a fun and engaging place with the usual share of human noise. Maybe some people are happy to have reddit choosing what deserves to reach your eyes, I like to do it myself :)
Keep it in your hard drive and carry it with you, this was not a hard problem 20 years ago, but we’re being conditioned to regression in expectations and functionality. Better than yet another blockchain overkill and works offline.

As noted earlier, GPU.zip works only when the malicious attacker website is loaded into Chrome or Edge. The reason: For the attack to work, the browser must:
allow cross-origin iframes to be loaded with cookies
allow rendering SVG filters on iframes and delegate rendering tasks to the GPU
Does Firefox do that?
I mean, there are android phones from 2013 that still work…no need to advertise for apple.

mander.xyz is awesome, if you select by local you only get science posts from communities that are visited and commented on. programming.dev has some good communities too, that probably need some good comments and content so people don’t give up on them.
You need to pick your home instance well to have a good head start, otherwise, you’ll spend every day blocking communities that take up space in you discovery feed when you select by “all”.
