Honest question: what am I missing out on with sudo?
I mean, I like them and also want to get them one day. So n is at least 1. In the end you should do body mods because you like them, not because others do…
Arjen Anthony Lucassen for sure!
Really cool idea, I hope this gains traction!
Bdsmlr is decent, depending on your taste.
I wish we can get a Krita, Inkscape, GIMP ecosystem that rivals their offerings. I recommend these tools to most of my students (gamedev) because they’re already great, but if they wanna work in this area in industry they’re also forced to learn Adobe…
Chromium means Google gets to decide what internet standards get implemented. The existance of alternative engines (like the one Firefox uses) means that there is still some democratic control. If you care about the internet, don’t use a chromium-based browser.
Also much cheaper there. And you have a lot of pubs to go to. And you can drink them when you’re 16.
Ahh I was kinda fearing that but had no idea how that would wotk, thanks!
Is it something that can never work or something that is not yet implemented?
I don’t use Windows, but doesn’t the LTSC and/or Enterprise edition come with better defaults?
Just because they haven’t been checked yet doesn’t mean they won’t run. About 75% of the games that were tested were compatible with the Steam Deck. Also, all emulators work on Linux too and sometimes even better than on Windows. The number of games that are available to you on Linux is simply massive.
This seems a little exaggerated. For example, over 10k games are Steam Deck playable/verified.
How about some good old RSS? I use Feeder because it is simple and FOSS.
Wayland is a replacement for the X11 window system protocol and architecture with the aim to be easier to develop, extend, and maintain.
Wayland is the language (protocol) that applications can use to talk to a display server in order to make themselves visible and get input from the user (a person). A Wayland server is called a “compositor”. Applications are Wayland clients.
Water, land, and (existing) housing could be examples of this. However, I reckon the core point here is that while businesses are groups of people, there is social labor and private profit.
My only gripe is that they post everything, so you need something like Lemmy to filter their posts. No way this ends up on my rss feed list, but really happy they exist.
