Hey everyone! What are the odds all the cars in this picture are all the colors you can buy cars in?! Pretty fucking weird right?

Exactly. There used to be a built in break where people could fuck off from the relentless toil.
This is my number one complaint because it does mean missed messages. My second complaint is it messing up everyone’s audio choices every meeting.
Jeebus Christ no. As someone who has had occasional sleep paralysis since college… Just no. Even though I finally fully understand it and what triggers it, it sucks every time.
There is only one cert that matters to me, is it open enough to run locally with Home Assistant? If you make a product that can’t be broken by your company going out of business, I’ll give you money. If you try and tie it down to your own proprietary app, I’m out.
I was in a hotel just this week. Got in late, after traveling all day, so I flipped on the tv. I pulled up the guide and clicked a channel that sounded interesting. It was in a commercial break, after 1 commercial I brought the guide back up. I scrolled through hundreds of channels with the crappy hotel remote control. The entire time, the commercials were still playing in the background. I eventually made it down to HBO at the bottom of the list and picked a movie that had just started a few minutes ago. The outrageous length of the ad break from the first channel was unbelievable. Easily more than 5 full minutes. Why do people put up with it. And why do people PAY for the “privilege”?
I am familiar with the phrase. And I was correct assuming you were referring to chromium as the culprit.
In case anyone didn’t know, you actually can polish a turd.
How would you say it’s a turd? I assume because it’s still chromium based, but I don’t want to put words in your mouth.
It’s my browser of choice for my work computer but I do run Firefox at home and on mobile.
Counterpoint: sucking blows.
I only have marques brown’s comment to back this up, but he said the two stage camera button doesn’t do anything yet but it’s coming in a future update. I’m baffled how Apple feels okay releasing this new hardware without the software to support it.
7.0.57. I’ve had no android issues with this version. I don’t feel like I’m missing any features by refusing to update.
Meh. Nova is the best launcher in my opinion but I’ve already been version locked to the last release before this company bought it. I’ve basically given up in anyone else replicating the features I want. So I’ll be using this version of Nova until Google finally breaks it.
That’s me too. I was a family subscriber for years. Some of those years it was just myself on there too. But the price hikes and interface degrading was infuriating.
I’ve always read it as “Land O’ Lakes” pronounced Oh but it’s implied to mean “of”.
Jebus! I scrolled past this post two days in a row. But today I thought, my morning could use the relaxing mood of some classic Ghibli.
Fuck you.
(And take your upvote)
Nova, reluctantly, lives on.
My SO hadn’t seen House so we’re doing it now. It’s going slow because while it’s a great show, it’s a little too formulaic to be binge-able. We’re in the next to last season now.
I recently finished a Frasier rewatch which actually made me realize I’m not sure I EVER finished the last season. Still a great show but I doubt I’ll watch the reboot.
They’re not the only company pulling this but at least they put up the disclaimer. I got a “free delivery offer” on another app a few weeks ago. Logged in, made my order, noticed it was higher than when I order pickup on my way home from work. Look closer, and sure enough, there’s no delivery fee but all the item prices were higher. It’s bait and switch and should be illegal.
