Tip, you can put full Linux on most chromebooks and chromeos devices. I’ve done it before mrchromebox.tech

Wow you’re a transphobe too? fuck you dude.
It is in general considered pretty disrespectful to fetishize transness, because it almost portrays trans people as if they are sex objects, as opposed to real people who should be treated with dignity and respect.
With what? I stated that I am not transfem and that if the circumstance in question happened to me it would make me unhappy and I would take steps to reverse it. Not really much more to say to that.
You sound similar to me, I’ve never thought much about gender and I dress very GNC (Gender-Nonconforming). Though I’m not sure I wouldn’t feel anything negative considering that the lack of a penis would negatively affect my life.
Also ignoring other feminine features because due to my genetic condition they probably wouldn’t be present anyway (Have a condition that affects my sexual development and essentially prevented me from going through puberty).
I think I read it as much more serious than it was intending to be, to me it seemed like the person was denying the idea of them being homosexual because they are conventionally “straight” now.

If I woke up as female, I am Agender so I’m not a woman because I do not identify as one. Essentially though yes, yes I would, because even though I am Agender having a penis is something that feels right for me.
I know that I’m going to get shit for this from people who don’t understand why something like this is important to me, but I’m used to it, NonBinary identities are much less recognized and often stigmatized (even in safe spaces 😔).
I kind of agree, the comments about masturbating to one’s self are a bit gross and kind of feel like they are fetishizing trans people, not cool people, not cool.
Not really a man (Agender and Intersex) but I am Male so I feel like I can answer this one.
I have a developmental condition which affects my body’s ability to produce androgens so for me I wouldn’t be much different aside from genitals since I never finished puberty and likely wouldn’t have then either.
Not as big of a setback or difference than it would be for someone else but not being able to pee while standing would be a very big negative for me and I’m not really sure what I would do about that (probably get a Phalloplasty so I can pee properly again).
More often then not I’ve seen where people who are trans are still attracted to the gender they were attracted to before, there are exceptions but most of the time that’s how it goes.
That’s a bit homophobic and dismissive towards another person’s sexuality. Another person who you don’t personally know might I add.
I think you’re either overselling their defensive capabilities (like mods there do) or the solutions you used are just leaky and awful. I’ve found Tor to work very well, less complicated than the solutions you presented since it’s basically an all in one. I had an account on there for almost a year only through Tor so it works well, but I lost the password and since I used a throwaway email account is gone for good, but still not shadowbanned.
I have 4 other accounts (I’m not going to say which ones they are, makes the job of admins harder) still been going for over two months.
You can usually appeal shadow-bans and they overturn them I’ve found, you have to send an appeal showing both that you know but also pretend you don’t know why otherwise they’ll think they owned you.
I can’t tell if you’re being genuine or sarcastic.
On Lemmy itself it hasn’t been implemented, though there is an issue related to it on their github. There are clients that do it but it’s client-side only at the moment.
That’s one big problem with political discussions, everyone having them thinks their own views are the correct ones. Then there’s the problem of politics in international communities, did you know that what’s right and left can be entirely different in different countries and different cultures?
It’s why I avoid political discourse and I try not to refer to myself or others as right or left.
The fact that you are assuming someone wants to use Tor on Lemmy to do something illegal shows that you have fallen prey to the idea that Tor itself is illegal or meant for illegal activity, it’s the driving force behind many of the pushes to block Tor or even to attempt to extinguish it.
Fact of the matter is Tor is a tool, a tool that like any is not inherently evil or illegal. Tor’s purpose also isn’t to facilitate illegal activity, its purpose is to provide privacy and anonymity to people who want it. It sounds to me like you have been listening to a lot of those “scary” deep web videos or assuming people use Tor for those reasons and not for legitimate privacy and security reasons, (like for example did you know that Lemmy doesn’t proxy images?). This is one thing I really hate about those types of content, they portray the idea of privacy and security as if it’s evil or nefarious, or that the idea of hosting your own hidden service is creepy or wrong, it’s really gross actually, all for clicks and views, but they push it as if it’s real, it’s harmful to services like Lemmy which are currently outside of the mainstream and probably are associated with Dark web contend just by virtue of not being Big tech products, for a while I’d heard similar stories about linux too (people talked about how linux is for criminals, glad that one didn’t catch on).
TL;DR you shouldn’t be assuming that people want to use Tor (a privacy and security tool) for nefarious or evil purposes due to it’s reputation with nontechnical people, especially when those people are known for spreading misleading or even wrong information about the subject itself.
block the porn communities or disable NSFW, that’s what I did (at least before lemmy.blahaj.zone defederated from them)
On mine I had to use a BIOS flasher tool since it was locked and Dev mode wasn’t allowed to be enabled (think it was due to enterprise enrollment), though flashing the image directly worked like a charm following the unbricking guide.
