Even though the work is not completely original, something that the internet has only recently starting lacking is a mass variety of creative writing. This is due to a lot of reasons, yet mainly it’s intense moderation policies and increasingly strict advertiser friendly narratives being policed. There was more creative writing online within forums during the early 2000s. Anything that grows creative writing is a win.
Even after all this time it’s still a clunky blank and bland UI on desktop. One would think this would be a priority to fix, yet all that has materialized is a creepy 3D logo. Old is a total example of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
3·1 year agoWould not be surprised if they are being dishonest about how many users are on old. I recall over a year or two ago reading a highly upvoted comment about it being less than 5% of all users, it might of been an Admin I don’t remember. New users I’ve shown old.reddit to are always so delighted. I’m sure it’s almost all OGs still on old though.

From what Bay Area friends told me, just a new really tense non-collaborative or innovative walk on eggshell environment since switching back from WFH to hybrid/in-office.
He did a talk and Q&A in England awhile back at I believe Oxford and he kept checking his watch, it just seemed rude.
Not hard to believe these rumors of super low morale within the industry are true.
Wealth is in the mind not the pocket.
And throughout SE Asia. The smog has never been grimier.
Perhaps just a bit of simulation theory disclosure.
