That’s amazing. This has big “as a thanks for working your nuts off, we’ll reward you with a pizza party” energy going on.

I see AI still can’t render hands well. Apparently pixelated feet give it problems too, judging from Mario’s nightmare fuel feet.
Me neither. How long till old.reddit.com goes away? That was supposed to be the next big spike in the Lemmy growth curve.
I can’t believe I read that whole thing. I take that back, I can’t believe Reddit actually thought this was a good idea and put it out into the world.
I, too, like to place my garbage dump on the border so my neighbor can enjoy the aroma.
I’m Asian. If my earwax is super dry and flaky, I hate to see the sludge coming out of other people’s ears.
As for deodorant, I switched to a smaller variety of Tom’s in my travel kit because the travel-sized ones from big box stores suck. I think the one I bought is aimed at women since their website shows bigger, blacker packaging for their deodorant aimed at men. I’m thinking of switching over to my travel kit ones on a permanent basis because of the fresh lemongrass and lavender scents.
Same here! I’d played some Genesis ones like Landstalker and Shining Force but it was Lunar that was the first game I absolutely loved. Working Designs was the shit back in those days.
You can do it! I have faith in you!
(Also resisting taking out the trash, um…because it’s drizzling and gloomy outside )
Agreed on Persona 5, and I really need to play Persona 4 (it’s on my list but stupid life gets in the way).
Two other picks:
The original Lunar: The Silver Star on SegaCD. I never played the remakes on other systems but I know they changed significant parts of the soundtrack in those games, while the SegaCD version just hit perfectly for me.
Final Fantasy Tactics. One of the few soundtrack CDs I imported when those were a thing and could listen to and instantly recall fond memories of playing the game.
Happy for Infinity users. Legacy Reddit third party app users are feasting in the past couple of days with those apps moving over to Lemmy.
A doge themed icon? That idiot really is slurping up Musk sauce and emulating everything he did with Twitter.
Considering a huge percentage of Thai people are lactose intolerant, I weep for anyone who has to clean the Burger King toilets.
r/NBA was a mess at the best of times but at least it didn’t have that idiotic Twitter requirement that r/NFL does for news posts.
That said, I hope Lemmy sports communities start becoming popular. I don’t need every post to have 10,000 comments but a solid discussion would go a long way towards keeping me off Reddit for good.
I’m definitely sticking around. It was slow going on Lemmy after Reddit’s third party app shutdown on 6/30 but there’s been a noticeable uptick in posts and comments in the communities I follow which is great. I don’t need 5,000 responses per post and Lemmy’s discussion volume works just fine for me.
There are still a few interests I follow that aren’t present on Lemmy that I’m aware of (pro wrestling and NFL being the big ones), but hopefully those arrive soon.
I was using Reddit mobile to follow some interests that don’t have any communities on Lemmy yet and noticed the obscene number of awards on that ad. How in the world did that happen?
I’m really enjoying seeing the Lemmy communities I follow grow noticeably in just the past few days and hope people stick with it.
If you’re not a fan of high information density, I recommend Overdrop. It presents the key information in a simple, clear way.
Also been testing Weather Today which seems to be another good one in the few weeks I’ve had it.
Star Wars. I’m literally the only Gen Xer I know who didn’t grow up a huge fan of the first three movies and didn’t care for all the toys associated with them. That continued into adulthood–I never got the hype for the newer movies or the modern series.
