It’s almost like … universal healthcare would make our economy stronger and the insurance companies are the leaches…
This last election made me into an anarchist for now. I do not believe there is any way to salvage this system we have in any meaningful way. I’m not a violent person so I can’t see myself doing anything like Luigi, but Democrats aren’t going to save anyone and are just one part of the problem.
I think Donald could be the death blow to our country as more and more of our social contract is upended, especially with talks of killing the ACA and other popular programs.
He had everything on him to get caught and convicted. I don’t think he wanted to run forever.
Genuine question: why not try Linux? You’ll continue to get updates without the nagware. There are very few games I play that cant run on proton at this point.
Could it be possible for companies to drop ship through Canada or Mexico to skip the tariffs?
I’m still waiting for games to release on Linux with good compatibility, I hope that’s the case since the steam deck has been out for a bit. Unfortunately every Linux native game I’ve tried so far has had some issues that were resolved switching to wine
It “just works” 95% of the time with no tweaks. That’s the benefit. Games in your library will install and run with zero intervention, just like on Windows and at times with better compatibility because the tweaks and dependencies are already configured. It’s nice not having to manage wine versions and prefixes.
This is my biggest gripe with developers. More often than not the native version either has worse performance or poor compatibility whereas the windows versions just seem to work. It seems like they aren’t putting effort into making their games compatible with newer compositors or something because proton “just works”.
Wood and sheetrock
I agree it’s not practical, but they don’t necessarily need that output all the time. They could charge extra for faster charging and just make it so while the fast chargers aren’t being used they charge batteries/capacitors for the fast charging stalls. But even with this, the fast chargers would probably always never be available in urban areas, and this would lead to a lot of waste too if nobody is fast charging.
You can self host bitwarden using vaultwarden on docker + pi with SQLite. You just need to make sure you backup your vault to a remote service from time to time, but you can encrypt that
