It’s a massive pain in the ass but I say go for it. There are huge long term benefits which outweigh the inconvenience. You will probably have those teeth for there rest of your life so you might as well look after them.

I got braces at 21 and absolutely don’t regret it. If anything I wish I used my retainer longer afterwards for maintenance.

I’ve been on the internet since the 90s, BBS services before that. Thankfully I’ve never stumbled upon anything remotely close to CSAM all this time. To think that I could open up a twitter thread linked from a news story and be subjected to it is repugnant.

I remember reading an article speculating that his strategy was to bring down twitter because it was a left leaning platform, and that would appease the Saudis, or something like that. Seemed pretty far fetched. I reckon he made an ego driven power play without thinking it through and it is going about as well as anybody expected. No shenanigans, no strategy, just a more publically exposed failure than his previous business failures.

I meant just like general cat activities, daily routines and stuff but mainly butthole licking. I just didn’t know how to phrase it and now I’m some anthropomorphing cat weirdo.

I think it does if you know they’re in a supportive loving home. We had two cats and they didn’t get along but were happy enough if they got attention from us and we could separate the two of them if they were pissing each other off.

When our firstborn came along we knew that the cats would have a lesser quality of life as a result. They’d fight and be anxious, and we were snappy and sleep deprived too. I mentioned it to a guy at work and he said he and his new wife were keen to take on a cat. They spoiled that cat and gave her a better life than we could, and he kept us updated on her hobbies, health and that sort of thing. It made it easier for sure.

We moved house and the remaining cat had more space to play so he was happy. Lived til 18.5 years old and was given lots of hugs from our toddler over the years
