There have been a lot of political articles and not much besides.

I had “childhood asthma” and had to carry around an inhaler.

Honestly many of them. But that may be the flaw of being written by people who aren’t as smart as the characters they’re trying to portray. Or the target audience has to also remain interested. Another aspect of this is many of those who are very smart are not these extrovert characters tv audiences would be interested in. It’s the whole big bang theory problem.

Being part of a team that helped a child learn to communicate in their own way. They went from dangerous head banging behaviors, having to work in a padded room to sitting at a desk with nearly no SIB. Not all wine and roses but damn it’s night and day over the last 2 years.

I could make what I have now if I just had a single family home with an acre for my kids to live in when I’m dead. That’s it.

I’m not very tech savvy, my Adblock sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. I’ve been using Firefox with extensions incognito for YouTube or I just avoid the site these days. I really liked it for music videos, since in unwilling to pay Spotify. So far my strategy is working.

The only community there I miss even a little is the metalcore community. Even then, having stepped back a little I can see the post quality is not always that great. The same news/social content is regurgitated on Imgur.

The parents who misunderstood intermittent punishment and created a generation of kinksters. Woohoo.

Fun one. I grew up in trailers and we had roaches. Id wake up with them crawling all over. Turn on a light and up the walls they go. Now I’m a behavior therapist and I’d take the person who obviously means me no harm over skittering ass bugs. There’s nothing that says they have to stay either or that they can’t be helped :)

Yeah, realistically what happens here is car pulls up to person with walkie, shows ID, kid gets sent down for pickup. Or person maybe has to go into the office for sign out depending on staffing. Idk what everyone else is on about but clearly they’ve never worked in school, lol. Staff just want to go home and can’t do that until kids are safely dismissed.

I loved the old school forum style when I joined. It looks like facebook or what I imagine Facebook looks like these days. I don’t know who this design is for, but it’s not for me.

Had an account since 2011. Deleted it mid July. Haven’t logged in once. I miss the metalcore community but that’s about it.

It’s been about three years since I’ve heard from my mom/sister. I have no idea how they’re doing other than they’re down in Florida the last I checked.
