You could limit the firewall to IP range(s) of your domestic (and other places of interest like work) connection.
This way they won’t come even close to even logging in.
And then you could do the other hardening on top.
Usually a lurker.
Maybe I should’ve just shut up and thought for a bit longer before writing that comment…
If you want to talk to me elsewhere, you know how to reach me.

There are still countries other than the US.
I am neither pro- nor con to this idea.
In my opinion, the choice is yours to have as long as it won’t interfere with mine (meaning you may atom bomb a whole continent as long as I can live as I am content with it too).
Yes, having to deal with the dysphoria is a problem.
Yes, I may deal with an egg problem myself. Maybe not very much.
Yes, some ruined it for all.
Yes, it’s sad but there are se that could make something that se have a fetish for a living hell.
I know what psychotherapie is like.
If it could enable an early entry free for the person in need free from any outside influence, I am all for it and wish them my best.
Sadly there are many difficult hoops to juml through.
Another way to do it: Deny them every step of the ladder they fucked up.
And they’d need to restart from a regular position equal to their experience (e.g. CEO -> Manager of department or something equal to the highest non C-suite managerial job).
If they fuck it up, they have to be fired, are not elligible to be hired for >10 years at the same company and are only possible to be employed at a position lower to their current one.
Optionally to add: 10% penalty of their gross worth (Including every asset in their position or by a direct proxy).
Why would a company do anything to do a “Honorable mention” and pay with influence?
The law for IP can be played by both parties. It’s just companies that have too much ressources can bend those rules in their favor which is the actual problem.
Agreed. You are very welcome on my list :)
Too much risk of peer pressure and influence by outsiders.
It’s a deep invasion into the body chemistry and shady guardians/doctors could do more harm than it would help actual deserving recipients.
So it’s the usual: The one ruins it for all.
It will. And those that knew what they were doing behind the scenes before the public knew probably pulled out way before the market saw what would happen.
Now they will have a feast while the normal joe has a crashed portfolio because it’s not their day job to manage a stock portfolio.
More likely than other services due to HWA.
I tried out shell coding with copilot (xml manipulation and merging).
I gave up. Not worth the sanity.
lol.
With the current trend I feel like the neonazis AfD will put us right back to Temu-Hitler (Trump) and Putin.
Weird.
Mine is just Anime, vtuber, tech (the good kind) and edutainment (e.g. kurzgesagt, real engineering, ezc.).
Maybe you engage heavily in political content because I mostly avoid it like the plague.
Great. Now instead of Google, Apple collects your data :)
I wrote a shell script like this (it admin , notna dev) for private use.
The prompt took me like 5 hours of rewriting the instructions.
Don’t even know yet if it works (lol)
I set mine up with Authelia 2FA and restricted media deletion to one user: The administrator.
All others arent allowed to delete. Not even me.
You mean “Have I been pwned”?
How do you reply to those emails in case of needing to contact with said company.
I’d assume they would deny service if the user (even on the same custom domain) is not equal to the account holder.
Veeam community edition is fine for most things.
If you are cheeky, generate yourself an NFR license on their website.
Edit: Veeam plans a Linux version for VBR 13.
Veeam Agent can run stand-alone on both Linux (only specific distros are actually supported. Non-supported might work) and Windows
Using Veeam.
It’s whole purpose is doing backups from small deployments up to the datacenter level.
Might be worth taking a look.
And the documentation is very good.
