No doubts about it. With the decentralization it truly just feels like being on forums again. Just needs more content for nicher topics but that’s slowly growing, i’m happy here away from the larger internet.

You get it! I miss forums so much, but Lemmy scratches the itch so far. The internet used to be about individuality and now it seems to just turn people into what it wants.

made an account here recently just to see what was up. I didn’t mind reddit (albeit it was very clunky and slow, just not an ideal website for me, miss forums a lot) but lemmy seems like the best compromise. Can’t wait to see where it goes from here
