13 points for me.
Deputy Mayor Callie Briggs
Not the best picture, but it’s good enough.
I feel like having Wallace in A Grand Day Out always having similar style of movement as the scene where he’s hammering something would make the already somewhat trippy, in my opinion, short film feel more like a horror movie. The way he just stands perfectly still and doesn’t react while his arm flails back and forth with the hammer in his hand just feels menacing in a way that would make the rest of the movie more horrifying, in my opinion, if all his movements were like that.
I’d still like to believe they did that design as a marketing stunt to get people talking about it, but I also have a lot of doubt they would have been smart enough to actually come up with something like that…
I would absolutely love to commandeer the cartoon title “Animaniacs” as a word to refer to people, such as myself, who love cartoons/anime/animated content over live action anything.
I was busy thinking about that. Why not make a replicator without limits if possible? No downsides because then you’d be able to create what you want when you want. Anyone dumb enough not to think of that would be stuck using it once a day while you are able to create all you want.
Damn this is something I need to look into.
I doubt she is gaslighting me because there’s not much for her to gain from her doing it. Tighter control over family is something I expect from her family rather than her.
Sounds fair enough that it could have just been the surgery. I’m nowhere near a medical professional, but I can totally see unforseen complications having happened to me.
Seems pretty tame compared to various other answers, but keeping people under anesthesia longer than expected during surgery and seeing how it affects things like memory or personality.
Supposedly after an open heart surgery I had gone through over a decade ago, my mother swears my personality changed. Though I can’t remember if that’s true because my memory has felt, in a sense, kinda foggy since then. So I wanna know if it was because I was under for longer than expected or because the surgery itself.
Too late. Off to back those experiments… as soon as I figure out how to become one of the suspiciously wealthy furries
The colour red so that way whenever somebody goes to “Red Lobster” all they see is “Lobster” on the sign.
As much as I’m not a fan of this, I’ll at least admit it was helpful in helping me quickly learn how to scale videos using FFMPEG. That, combined with the documentation and now I have a command saved to a reference text document to help if I ever forget.
Easy. Every language. Some foreigner from another country talks shit about me? Be prepared to be verbally assaulted back in your native tongue. Probably never happened, but it’s definitely a scenario I wish would for that exact reason.
I got a Pentel with a tip like #3, so if #1 had the #3 tip I’d absolutely say #1.
My 0.7mm Pentel pencil has been the best pencil/mechanical pencil I have ever used, for the most part. It was definitely overpriced, like everything at a college bookstore, but it’s been such an amazing pencil. Only problem is that I can’t have it loose in the pockets of my spring jackets or it will try to poke through the cheap fabric.
Edit:
I have used 2, 5, and 7 (alongside ones of basically same design but different brand) as well, so I have no idea how good the others are.
Was gonna ask what’s wrong with Systemd but decided to look it up and I now see why, at least from what I was reading.
Screw all of humanity. Fake nuclear bomb/missile launches on radar in order to jumpstart the next age of humanity.
I won’t be alive to deal with the consequences if someone does accidentally end up firing nukes because of my ghost, so why not make humanity suffer for my amusement?
The bigger question is do they care. At worst they get a slap on the wrist by the US government. At best they get to control the narrative and have books like having history books on their platform talk about how the the Allies first striked Nazi Germany because they were lifting the country out of economic crisis and making the world a better place.
I doubt they’ll care or listen if EU says stop since they’ll just find a way around whatever they have planned to try and stop revisionist ideology from taking hold.
Saw a video on this earlier and it really makes me think we’re absolutely nowhere near an AI being able to generate a full-on or even a partially playable video game in real time any time soon, much to the dismay of the tech/AI bros.
Also, they talk about making old games portable as though you can’t just boot up a game like Ty the Tasmanian Tiger on an emulator like PCSX2 or Dolphin on a device like a Steam Deck anything similar, all without needing powerful enough systems to run a whole extremely in depth simulation of our universe.
