I don’t need to prove that Biden opposes fascism. I just have to prove the other candidate would be more fascist. We only have two choices. This should be really simple. Yeah I agree. My tummy hurt replying to that post because I knew I was going to get more insane replies. And I got them. As some one who cares, it is really hard not to reply to socially detrimental posts. I always hope at least one person reads them and gets a chance to escape to a better place in life.

EDIT: Well, okay, it’s not really specific to those instances, but YePowerTrippingMods is about behavior by mods in general and whether it’s appropriate, and MeanwhileOnGrad is specific to criticism of objectionable tankie things, which often involves mod/admin stuff.

Wow, good documentation at least. Thanks! I’m not clear on exactly what I did. Other than have an unpopular opinion.
My two hypothesis :
- either they don’t see most of your comments for some reason (like most comments being on lemmy.world coms and them being blocked from it), and they believed you were a fake account promoting vote
- either they don’t care for a proper reason. I see a lot of bans from .ml being referenced as “bigotry” even when it’s only pointing out negative aspects of some dictatorship ML worships, so this could be a thing on Hexbear too.
Sometimes hexbear mods just ban you if they find you annoying and you aren’t a hexbear user. It’s honestly part of the site culture

omg that take is utterly braindead. I have lived in a social democracy all my life, and would be worse off in pretty much any other type of state (in the us i would be fucking dead by now)
e: i just looked at the context, and it was a top level comment to what Mamdami said to the 2-Year-Anniversary of the 7.Oct. attacks that kicked off the Gaza conflict, where he acknowledged that the initial hamas attack was bonkers, before condemning the ongoing genocide (calling it one too), naming the US government complicit and calling for an end of the conflict and of apartheid. I don’t know on which of the six corners this bear and his upvoters hit his head, but there is not one social democracy in sight in any of this.
