Toothache. Most general pain I can just tolerate until it goes away. But I become completely useless with a toothache. I’m not productive and I’m irritable. I grab a painkiller as soon as I can.
This one just recently as I’m getting older: lower back pain. Getting up after sitting down for a while in an awkward position and the pain is so bad that I literally collapse into a squatting position with my hands on the ground until I can slowly get up again.
We’ve never seen pacman facing straight. What if its head is as wide as a burrito is long?
Explore The Old Republic era more. And smaller, contained stories. Leave the grand, bombastic stuff to the trilogy movies.
The Rebel Moon movies are better than Rogue One
Woah slow down there. I can understand not liking Rogue One, but no way the trash that is Rebel Moon is better.
I was surprised Yu Yu Hakusho wasn’t as popular around the world as I thought.
Dude didn’t even shower to save on water bills.
I think it’s more of finding ways to express negative emotions in a healthier/safer way, and not necessarily just suppressing it.
I use the Focus feature on IOS. I selectively silence the stuff that aren’t important (email, messaging apps, social media, etc.) and keep calls and emergency alerts active. 90% of calls I get are spam or sales calls and they don’t happen at night when I sleep. If I get a call in the middle of the night, there’s a high chance it’s important or it’s an emergency, so I don’t silence it.
I just watched an interview of Karen Hao and she mentioned something along the lines of executives being oversold AI as something to replace everyone instead of something that should exist alongside people to help them, and they believe it.
Are are we applying butterfly effect mechanics here? If yes, the farthest I’ll probably go is the previous 24 hours to have the least impact on the things I don’t want to lose/change. Then I’ll probably bet on the lottery.
Moderat - The Mark (Interlude), which was sampled in the soundtrack for the movie Annihilation.
Book holder as an ipad stand.
Not really big or anything, but almost 20 years ago it was my first time visiting Vegas from across the world to attend a conference. I had a very limited travel budget and was carrying three $100 bills as my allowance provided by my employer. Took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and it didn’t cross my mind that most taxis won’t really have change for $100 for a $12 ride. The driver was kind enough to just let me go without paying, probably because she could tell I was a tourist and was panicking because I had nothing else to pay with.
No kids, so every night is movie night. We watch so many shows and movies that there’s always something to watch or catch up on every day.
You don’t hear the answer because I use “great question” to stall and deflect because I don’t know the answer.
Poison also means they’ll hide and die somewhere unreachable and will stink up the place.
Blows my fucking mind they can’t just deny a tranaction
They can, they just won’t because of those juicy overdraft fees.
That’s true, but this directs them to the owner anyway, which is the same thing. It just goes to someone else. If this was actually anti-bribery policy, gifts should not be accepted full stop.
My comment was supposed to say “travel privilege” instead of just “privilege”, just missed a word.
