No it’s just stupid, Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and Imperial Japan were all fascistic and could be described as a cavalcade of idiots. A good example is Germany’s so called wonder weapons where the only one which was both effective and decently cheap was the V1 rocket, everything else was a waste of time and effort that if any other country did would’ve gotten someone shot.

Man, say what you will about truck culture, and I’ll probably agree, but I fuckin’ love truck nuts. I don’t know why, I don’t think it’s just immaturity because bodily humor isn’t usually my thing. But something about truck nuts makes me laugh.

I especially love that they trigger people enough that some places ban them.

I’m considering putting truck nuts on my fiat for exactly that reason. They’re just goofy and ridiculous!

I think truck nuts are tacky and stupid, but if you want them, I don’t see why my opinion should matter. Now, if they were big enough that they were dragging down the street and making sparks, maybe they should be banned. I’d find that funnier than the normal style, too.

They trigger people? I thought they just served as some kind of label to certify a car is owned by a bit of an immature prick, like a Trump sticker.

I’ve never seen anyone triggered by them unless someone put them on their car without their consent. I’d be pretty annoyed if someone superglued that shit to my car.

As I understand it there have been a few towns over the years that have tried to ban them for pearl-clutchy reasons. “Oh think of the children!” or “how indecent!” type of thing.

Apparently they’re illegal in the entire state of Idaho.

And anything as harmless and silly as truck nuts that makes old uptight people lose their shit is something worth fighting for.

Most EVs have transmissions, they’re just usually single-speed. They have to adjust the RPM of the electric motor to a speed usable by the wheels.

Some have two-speed gearboxes, like the Porsche Taycan. This is needed because EV motors produce full torque at 0RPM and it stays there as the power increases, but eventually you reach a point where the power plateaus and the torque falls off. If you want more power at high speeds, you have to use a second gear.

This just in, Koeningsegg Regera sales up 10000% in red states!

      (it doesn’t have a transmission)

(an increase of 10000% over 0 is still 0)

Cis and trans are also very commonly used to describe bonds in chemistry. Cis bonds are both on the same side, trans bonds point in opposite directions (think trans-fats). That’s a rudimentary explanation but the point is cis and trans have been used in the sciences long before trans people were discussed.

So silly to lose grants over, even if the research was actually about cis and trans humans.

‘cis’ being the opposite of ‘trans’ in regards to gender is literally borrowed from chemistry

This is same boneheaded DOGE AI that will soon decide whether you should lose your voting rights, due process rights, or citizenship for belonging to the terrorist organization Antifa.

The actually smart AI is the one Palantir will be using to deanonymize all your posts on the internet and hand off the results to the first one.

They should remove the transmission from their cars, just weld the engine directly to a wheel, not efficiënt but it won’t turn the boys into girls.

Wonder how research on black maternal mortality is being treated.

Considering how many of the women that have died due to Dobbs have been women of color… if one was “pro life” the fact that black women being 3.5 times more likely to die in childbirth should be concerning.
